Amercians have already voted in an actor, Ronald Reagan. Another actor, Fred Thompson, seems to be a serious contender for the Republican presidential nomination. Why draw the line there? Why not go all the way and vote for a porn actor or actress? He or she would be as qualified as any regular Hollywood actor. Discuss.

I think the best problem with voting in a porn star is most republicans are trying to keep the Clintons out of office. With a porn star as president. Bill would be making regular visits to the oval office.

You are mistaken, they voted for "the great communicator Ronald Reagan" not the actor. They also voted on his experience and record as the Governor of CA. Fred Thompson holds some of the values that Reagan did, but comparing the two is not fair to either on of them. Tying either one of these fine Americans to a porn star status is just sick. Now if you want to talk porno...Willie and Monica would make a much better topic!

Reagan was one of the best Presidents for America; he was no "regular Hollywood actor". Don't go insulting.
I would not vote for one, no. The other Americans out there though, I cannot say. If the media said he/she would be a good candidate, they probably would have a chance.

It could be no worse than the obscenity we already put up with. I'd call him one, and it's the VP's first name, but frankly I don't think that either has one between them, or the Congress the equipment that goes with it.
