When we were attacked on 9/11 it wasn't Saddam, it was Bin Laden and last time I checked there was NO evidence that Saddam had WMDS. While a lot of the Iraqi people are standing up, when did we accomplish our mission? When it was announced on the battleship? If so, why are we still there if we accomplished our mission? Also, last time I checked the Euro was doing better than the Dollar. We use to be able to go to Europe and afford the vacation, now it costs an arm and a leg to go. I'm not saying anything horrible about Bush because it is hard to be in his position, however, I would like to see some evidence in your statement.

First of all, Saddam did not attack us, Osama bin Laden has been the prime suspect. Bush has incorrectly stated that Saddam had WMD; this was found to not be true. Practically the only accomplishment we ever had in this war is overthrowing Saddam to free the Iraqis of his reign of terror.
We are not accomplishing our mission, we are piddling about in the Middle East as our soliders keep dying in vain Our economy is good? Then how come the stock market dipped 300 points the day before yesterday, and another 200 points yesterday?

Furthermore, our troops are in the Middle East, fighting as I type this, and Al-Qaeda terrorist groups are grouping together again for another American attack later this summer, a threat they will certainly carry out if we don't get the troops out of there.
Don't crap in my hand and tell me it's chocolate! Everything you have put in the additional information of this question is the exact opposite of reality.

Wow, I'd love to copy and save the text of your question as an example of the woes of political ignorance. Many conservatives on here make virulent and misleading statements (as do many liberals), but YOURS, sir, is a gem.
-There remains not a SHRED of evidence linking the Saddam regime to 9/11. It didn't happen. Secular, money-hoarding dictatorships with oil power have NO use for religious extremism (at least not on their own soil). Islamists like al-Qaeda were considered a threat to his stranglehold on Iraq.
-There remains not a SHRED of evidence that Iraq possessed WMDs at the time of the U.S. invasion. It's been over four years.
-If we "accomplished our mission", why are we still there? And why does the administration have no timetable for even a partial withdrawal? And why does Bush himself keep talking about all the "hard work" that remains for us in Iraq?
-Read the Patriot Act fully and explain to me exactly how I have MORE freedoms than I did ten years ago.
-Our own, newly-released NIE talks about the resurgence of Al-Qaeda's numbers and operational strength.
-The stock market started to fall again this past week.
None of what George Bush said has happened. All of your statements are inaccurate, exaggerations, or outright lies.
For me to back the President, he'd have to step down from office, be indicted criminally, forefeit all of his assets, and be found wandering the streets of Southeast DC. THEN, and only then, I'd give him a buck.

The surge is working? Even if it did who are you going to turn the government over to. They are saying 2010! You want 3 more years of body bags?
Iraqi oil is being given to Exxon, and we still haven't gotten water or electricity to the Iraqi's. They are being blown up daily!
80% do not support Bush and for good reason! He's a liar!
And he has gotten 4,000 killed, coming home in body bags!
You are way out there!

Restore the balance of powers, respect the Constitution, Restore habeas corpus, privacy. Stop politicizing the federal government. Return illegally usurped powers back to the Congressional branch. Admit this war in Iraq was a mistake.
Respect the rule of law. Stop torture. - stop stealing elections. Small things like that would be a good place to begin. As he stands now, I could never support him or his administration. And you mispelled liberal.

Uh. He has to do things correctly.
He has to stop lying
He has to not waste surplus and not doble the National debt.
He has to help his own country in thimes of disaster like Katrina.
He has to stop making those who believ in Christ to sahkes their heads wen he puts that as a basis behind momentous decision. (Just becuase you go to church doesn't mea you know anything whatso ever about what is really said in the bible. It's no something any common person just understands)
Basically, he just has to go. Everyone will denfitely be hind him then, pushing him out the doors of the White House.
Though the same could be said of me... you need to do some more SERIOUS research on your claims, and think outside of the box.
"Following us home" is a nice statement to act as a ploy to deploy more troops when support for it is decreasing. Thinnk twice sometimes, and don't just back somebody because when they registered to vote they check the same party box as you.

That will never happen because liberals are too well informed to believe any of the hogwash you put in your post. Not a single thing you say is true except that we accomplished our mission if you define the mission as overthrowing Saddam. Otherwise, you are dead wrong.

Oh my God!! That's hilarious! I almost believed you weren't joking at first!
In answer to your question: it will take a new president to get "liberals" behind the president. One who doesn't start wars for personal gain, who actually supports the troops & doesn't cut their benefits while they're fighting his personal war, and who doesn't let his Vice President's buddies steal from the people while making historic profits.
Do you know anyone like that?
