This is the time to make your voices heard, and to make it happen....so what do you see wrong that you want fixed by whomever you elect next?
Frankly, what I see wrong that needs to be fixed is the divisiveness of the people.
I don't understand this referral to one another as political beings rather than people...you know what I'm talking about...all this name calling of "you republicans" or "you democrats".
"YOU" are your neighbours to the left and to the right of you.
If you act divided, so will your politics be divided. So I think the time has come to build bridges between the two.
This is what you need to look for when you vote for your new president.

The police cannot be everywheres and with the type of punishment handed out by the courts, especially with "young offenders" why shouldn't we be able to take back our neighborhoods and feel safeto walk the streets again. Maybe if some of these criminals realized that real punishment was going to be dealt out to them maybe they wouldn't do the crime.

i have been employed as a sports officiator at the YMCA since january, i worked on average 8 - 10 hours a week on the weekends up until now. i never got any paychecks until may. they kept telling me to fill out information every month to get paid. i got paid finally in may but it was only for like 25 hours. apparently they can't find some of my time sheets. and they won't tell me what days i was paid for. i didn't keep a record of which days exactly i worked since january, but i know i haven't been getting paid for them. my manager says theres nothing they can do

TWICE today I read people saying that it would be cruel to do what we need to do to win the war, so we are trying to do a delicate balance. SERIOUSLY? Since when do we try and 'delicatley balance' something in a war? Now, don't get me wrong, I am against war. But, if you are for it, why aren't you for doing what it takes to win? I put a terrapass sticker on my car (i pay extra for carbon reduction) and now people who drive Hummers whip around me as fast as they can because they can't stand to be behind me...
