I got this speeding ticket on 22nd July,2007 at about 11:50 pm.I was doin 39 mph in 30 zone. The Officer gave me a ticket of $80 and 1 point off my license.I can either pay the fine or go to court.I think the ticket is unfair because 39 is normal, people always do around 50-55 mph on this road(by the way if u live in Prince Georges County area in MD,the route where I was driving was Route 1).If any of you think this is not a big deal and I should go for the trial, what are the possible things I can mention in the court to void the ticket. Also if anyone thinks that I should jsut pay the ticket, please response with appropriate explanation. I ask you to write honestly and not make a mockery of it.If otherwise I will post abuse for that answer,so please only logical answers.
Thanks !!!!!!!!

i asked an anccionet question 10 minutes ago , but i have been shocked by a racist answer, i was hurt, truly i was...now my question is are American people supposed to hate Arabs because of what the terrorists have done to them? and the same thing to Arabs, should Arabs and Muslims hate America because of president Bush policy? i myself don't agree with either Bush nor terrorists. we want to make peace not wars. believe me Arab nation hope for peacful life ,,we all know that in any country or group or religion ,there are good people and bad people, tolerant people and extremists.. people are not the same. if they are that means all Americans are killers because of what president Bush has done in Iraq.you can't judge an entire nation because of what one preson has done, plz no more racism .colours and religions don't matter.. all people have the right to live peacfully. Arabs Americans, Indian............etc

... mention the possibility that one of their candidates might use a Koran to be sworn in.

Why aren't these Dems defending the right of the candidate to use any book he/she wants? Why do they seem to get upset or have to quickly point out that they don't have a muslim candidate? Would they be ashamed to have a Muslim candidate? I thought religion wasn't important to Libs.

One of Romney's hurdles to getting the Rep. nomination is his religion, which Conservative Christians in the party are "concerned" about. For the most part, Democrats are much more tolerant of groups & classes. If he doesn't receive the nomination, could this be enough to sway the millions of Mormon Americans to support the other party in the upcoming Election and maybe a full "conversion"?

Ron Paul wants to again back the dollar with Gold/Silver as mandated in the constitution.
According to this report there is approximately 157,000 metric tonnes of Gold in existence. {1 tonne is 32,150 ounces}
http://www.plata.com.mx/plata/plata...
So, there is plenty of Gold available despite what critics say. Of course the price per ounce may sky-rocket until an equalibrium is reached.

Wife moved out of town, Texas to California, has been out 9 months, but will not sign divorce papers, wants to keep medical insurance benefits-reason for holding off, but won't communicate, any idea if 'D' by publication is legal in Texas?

In most states you have the option to file a "divorce by publication." Here is the basic steps.

1. Go to your local newspaper and put a divorce notice ad in the classified section. 2. Mail the divorce notice to the last known address of your spouse. 3. Wait 30 days and get a letter from the newspaper stating that the ad was posted for 30 days. 4. If your spouse no longer lives at the last known address the divorce notice will come back undeliverable. 5. Take your noncontested divorce papers with the letter from the newspaper and the undelivered notice and go to your local courthouse and file a "divorce by publication."

There are more steps and more forms to this process. But these are the main ones.

My ex-husband passed away in December 2006. We divorced in December 2004 after a 7 year marriage. He did not re-marry before his death. His kept me as his beneficiary on one of his old retirement plans. This was from a job he quit before we were divorced.

Nationwide Retirement Solutions has contacted me and requested my divorce decree. I asked why and the woman rudely told me that they are trying to settle the death benefit. She did tell me that I was the beneficiary and that I should not tell anyone this particularly my ex's mother.

I have not sent the divorce decree yet. I decided to do a little research on this and find out what my rights are. An on-line attorney Q and A service told me that I have the rights to the benefit regardless of divorce.

My feeling is that Nationwide is trying to be "sneaky" by trying to change the beneficiary. Should I send my divorce decree to Nationwide or continue to withhold this information?

Scientists , yes greenies , scientists have now stated that growing more corn for ethanol/alternative fuels is causing global warming by elevating dew points in regions where it's grown !! Yep !!
Their research indicated a direct-link with dew points and the influx of more corn fields . Apparently , corn stalks are responsible for releasing moisture in the air and thereby holds heat and humidity in those regions . More corn for alternative fuels . . . more heat !!!
Well now , will any of you now admit that we simply don't know enough about global warming and it's causes ?
You guys do like scientists , doncha ?
