Would Bin Laden object if a muslim pretended to be a Christian in order to wage jihad?

Two things.
1) Obama is a Christian. He regularly goes to a Christian church, and would likely swear on a bible. When did we start punishing people for the religious beliefs of their parents in this country?
2) Every politician this country has had since Abe Lincoln has claimed to be a Christian, and they've all been as crooked as bookies. Why would it possibly matter which religion they pay lip service to, if they're just going to ignore it when they get into office anyway?

Yes, I believe that Obama would be sworn in using the Bible, Although, in the Bible, Jesus says not to swear. See Matthew 5: 33-37.

The oath being sworn is to uphold the United States of America's Constitution, not the book upon which the oath is taken... which is, itself, irrelevant.
And... for the millionth time, Obama is a Christian.

Obama was already sworn into the Senate using his own personal Bible. He is a Christian. He was sworn in, in January 2005, by Dick Cheney.
I have no idea why you people make up silly questions trying to spin, defame and denigrate through prejudice and lies.

He was sworn in as a Senator using a Bible so why would that change when he becomes President? There will possibly be Muslims there. I don't think one is asked their religious affiliation when attending such events.

I believe he is Christian but what would it matter anyway? He is willing to take on the toughest job any American could do. If he is qualified to run the country, what difference does it make if he is Muslim or Christian or Wiccan?
EDIT: To ACC Rocks: I am not a "Christian Hater" just someone who thinks that religion belongs outside of politics as did our forefathers.

Why is it so important that we know what he might be sworn in on? If a President were being sworn in using the Torah or on a Veda, would you have been this worried?

It would be interesting to see if the Christian CONS supported this exercise of religious freedom.

Is the best thing Republicans can do is make stuff up?
That is pretty lame.
Anyway it would be a more realistic question to ask:
Will Giuliani wear a pink dress or a blue dress?
