How come no one's playing that card this time around? Was it just another ridulous statement by GW? Or should it be ruled on in court?
For those who don't know, McCain was born in the Panama Canal zone. (yes he's really that old....1936)

It was FUD -- Fear Uncertainty and Doubt.
A common political and marketing tactic used to attack an opponent.
And of course you're not seeing it played here -- because McCain is no longer an opponent of Bush/Rove.

We're already seeing plenty of that kind of trash. Haven't you heard that Barack Obama is a radical Muslim terrorist trying to take over the US? Fox News reported it, for God's sake. We'll hear that Hillary Clinton committed crimes, had illicit lesbian affairs, that Obama's wife neglects their children, and any other garbage you can imagine. It will all be duly noted on the front pages of the papers, later retracted in fine print on page 23, and carefully insulated so nobody can prove it's coming from the Republican National Committee. It's a sad and sordid business,
