I have been apprenticing in small bakery's and High end restraunts for the last 2 years. However I took the Asvab and found that i could go into Military Intel and later into the intelligence agencies, what should I do?

i am currently a us marine and my wife is in the navy and we are stationed in diffrent states, and i was currious what i need to do to get stationed closer to her or vice versa. i looked everywhere to find out anything about spousal relocation but i cant find anything. any information would be greatly appreciated.

I imagine it would cause a lot of confusion if you joined the army and your first or last name was "General" or "Colonel", especially on the clerical level. For instance, how would they address you if your birth name was "Brigadier General"? What would they put on all the paperwork? How long before thre was a snafu and someone actually mistook your for a real General?

Our governemnt seems to be preparing to take away our freedoms, ignore our bill of rights, and supress any who may stand up to them.

Why arent more people aware of these programs? Why is nobody talking about these programs?

If our governemnt gets to the point where martial law is declared, the citizens will be powerless to stand up to the tyrany.

The DREAM Act, which would allow illegal alien students to get special in-state college tuition discounts not available to native-born and naturalized American students, has been resurrected by the Dems. You’ll remember it was a piece of the failed shamnesty bill in the Senate. As I noted during the debate, the Dream Act would repeal a clearly worded provision in the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) that states:


Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a State (or a political subdivision) for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit (in no less an amount, duration, and scope) without regard to whether the citizen or national is such a resident.

Ten states defied that federal law and offered in-state tuition to illegal aliens: California, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Washington. The last time the DREAM Act champions tried to tack their scheme onto a larger immigration proposal, they snuck in language that would absolve those ten states of their law-breaking by repealing the 1996 law retroactively–and also offered a special path to green cards and citizenship for illegal alien students.



Now, Dick Durbin has announced he will stick the DREAM Act into the House Defense Bill HR1585. The lowdown is here. Durbin’s amendment would also welcome large numbers of illegal aliens into the military (you know, in addition to those the Pentagon has already allowed in).

The DREAM Act is an opening to all non-U.S. citizens, with extreme preference for those who violate U.S. law, to the financial aid and affirmative action systems.

First they increased Federal Student Loan interest rates and used the proceeds to "pay down the budget." Now, they will make America's college students and families bear the burden of educating the entire world.

What a way to destroy America's economy and society.

My fiance is enlisting in the Navy and we had planned to marry prior to boot camp, however the recruiter told him that we should wait until afterwards that way he wouldn't need a waiver. The recruiter failed to tell us that there is no leave between boot camp and A school. My question is that if we elope the weekend of boot camp graduation while he is on liberty, would that be okay and not require a waiver, or do we have to wait until after A school?
