I can't really speak to the impact of President Obama's administration yet, it's a bit too soon to make any really thoughtful, balanced, reasoned judgements (outside of returning to multi-lateralism). I will say that, you could list the Bush administration's failures for hours and then struggle to pick the worst. There are just so many and they are just abominable. The recent problem with Obama seems to around a little too much accessibility to the media. Where Bush the Illiterate was wisely kept as far from the media as possible, Obama is giving them too much time. This makes me wonder if he's getting bogged down in micro-management. When he's dealing with such trifles as the whole gates issue, I'm thinking a bit of distance might be a good thing. On a side note, I would just like to ask if any of the reasonable people here (the few of of you) have noticed that the birther bullshit has dried up now that the drooling puppies have a new chew toy in the gates thing? It's interesting to watch the unevolved, from an anthropological point of view.

It is part of a master plan. Bush know that he has created such a mess, the next president will be a democrat. The republicans need a major terrorist attack to occur during the first 2 years that person is in office to recapute the senate and house in 2010 and the whitehouse in 2012.
