He admitted today that someone is his administration leaked the name of Valerie Plame. But when the leak first happened, he promised to FIRE anyone connect to the leak. Today he said he will not fire anyone, and wants to move on. So he lied. Impeach him!

I think it's about saving face at this point. We're suppose to be a force to be reckoned with.
Let's face facts; it's time to bring our soldier's home, tighten our borders and protect our country.

Ok, I'm a liberal. But it's obvious that pres Bush is commited to his goal, (I just watched the Presidential news conference), and if he succeeds in putting a major dent in crazy terrorism, then at least our efforts will have not gone in vain. As much as I disagree with war, I disagree even more with crazy people blowing themselves up in the middle of a shopping center, etc. What if we, as Americans, gave President Bush 100% support for the remainder of his term, and together, blew terrorism off the map? The election is next September, we can do what we want at that time.

Why is everyone (especially Y!A users) so caught up in Republican vs. Democrat arguments (or liberal vs. conservative which are just about the same thing).

There are a number of third parties in the USA the bridge the gap been liberals and conservatives, liberals and moderates, and moderates and conservatives.

Perhaps more would get done if we didn't force every American into one of two categories.

It sure must be something bigger then a little BJ in the oval office. Bush refusing to let his aides testify is tantamount to admitting guilt in this case. Shame on him.

The main enemy of terrorists is Bush. That means he defends innocent people who are vulnerable to attacks by terrorists. But instead of praising him some people make fun of him and criticise him. Is it not sad?

If, as Bush asserts, the Executive Branch was never involved in the attorney firings in the first place, why does Bush feel the need to order Harriet Miers to not testify about it? Why does Bush have to order Harriet Miers to not testify about something that allegedly never happened?

I don't care if attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President - that is not what my question is about.

All I'm asking is, if Bush/Cheney/Rove, et. al., were not involved in the firing of the eight attorneys, then why would Bush need to order Harriet Miers to not testify about something that Bush says never happened in the first place?

Someone named after Hank Hill's dog died in Texas the other day and the stories describe her as a "Former First Lady". But I've been reading web sites of Presidential Candidates and both major political parties for years and haven't seen any mention of a President named "Johnson". Did she used to be married to Truman or Eisenhower or something?

It's almost as if the President thinks the rest of us are walking around with blinds on and all he has to do is say, 'We will succeed' and everything is done.

WHY HASN'T HE ACHIEVED SUCCESS DURING THE PAST 4 YEARS.????

Can't there be a mature conversation here without the immature name-calling, and senseless bashing of one political party or another, as well as the candidates within those parties? Can't we focus on whats really important?

What goal merits the death of countless people, including over 3.000 of our troops? Why the extended deployments? And why do you think he will not listen to those who differ with him? No nasty answers; try to think rather than react to this question.

Hey,

Soon, I'll be riding along with my local Military Police and I'm looking forward to it. However today, I got stopped by a rude police officer asking me to buckle up my helmet. I was on my way to the my local police detachment, ready to drop off my ride along form, and suddenly I see this rude cop come up to me and he tells me to buckle up my helmet. I was riding my bike and I wasn't traveling far.

I'm well aware that you should always buckle up your helmet while riding a bike. However the think that bothers me the most, is the way the officer spoke to me. He was rude and incompetent.

Funny thing is I'm planning on becoming a police officer after high school. I've got one year to go, and as much as I love the police, I just can't stand the fact that their will always be crooked, and rude cops out there......

What do you think of all of this? I just hope I won't ride along with this cop while I go for my ride along soon....

Regards

Jordan

The number of muslim immigrants to the U.S. is increasing daily; and our own government (by the people and for the people) is to blame.

I do not understand America. The President seems only one in America that believes he is doing a good job. In every other civilized government, if the President is in error with his people, he either changes policy or the populace remove him.

Why cannot Americans be responsible for their government?

Nero fiddled while Rome burned, but we know what Clinton did (it involved a Cigar and a barely legal young girl).

Now, for the 8 years of his "presidency", the Taliban and Al Qaida were allowed to flourish in Afghanistan. He actually refused to take bin Laden because Reno questioned the legality of taking bin Laden from a country (The Sudan) with which we had no extradition treaty.

Should Clinton be immediately arrested and tried for accessory to the murders of the 9/11 victims, the USS Cole, the victims of the bombings of our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and countless other deaths attributed to "Bloody Bill Clinton"?

It's hard to go off statistics without hearing what the problems are, if any. Do you have children in school K-12? What is your experience with the education system? Please list the state you live and what you think they could do to improve, or why you think it's just fine.
