do you think tightening your borders you'll protect your country???
if the enemy is in your country.and i am not talking about illegal immigrants, i am talking a bout Bush.
you are right, there are not WMD, but thera is petroleum.
have you seen the news???
the new report that al qaeda i strong againg and that they can attack the US??
the reason for that report is that people and senate wanted the troops back home but not Bush and people around him. so they needed another excuse to keep the troops there until they can take over the oil.
the threat in not uotside the US, but inside.

Waiting for the Iraqi Parliament to ratify the Iraq Oil Law so the US oil companies can exercise long-term (30+ year) contracts, taking 50% control of Iraq's oil reserves, siphoning off the profits and leaving the everyday Iraqi people in as bad, if not worse, shape than before we arrived.
They of course will love us even more for that and the permanent military bases we'll be building to ensure the safety of the oil companies. Terrorism, which never has it's roots in futility and oppression, will of course just go away.
Yeah, right!

The people who make President Bush's policies for him knew that getting into a war is much easier than getting out. They even admit that the WMD was a phoney reason for starting the war. In fact we were given about 20 reasons, one at a time, and when one reason was discredited they'd come out with another one. Which leads me to think that they were -all- phoney, to hide the real reason.
What's really scary is that the administration, while admitting that their plan isn't working, seems unable to come up with a new plan. The last six months (since the 'surge') have been the bloodiest and most expensive since the war began. All the 'benchmarks' we set have not been accomplished. Yet, though the admin. speaks of a new plan, it is the same as the old plan, nothing is changing.

Mexico sent a boat with water for the people. (that was a shock). Canada sent the mounted police their to help. Where the hell were we? Where was Bush and yes I saw the doc. on New Orleans and yes a American citizen told Chaney FU. I hate my leaders but love my country. If we would have said GOD talks through us we would be put in a padded cell. As long as corporations runs this country we are screwed.

A lie is a direct statement contrary to information that proves it to be otherwise. So, when you say Bush lied, then you are saying Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy, Reid, Murtha, Roberts, ect....lied as well , since they all said the same thing that Bush said.

Some people are in a continual state of denial. If he didn't have WMD how did all those Kurds die North of Baghdad? You might explore the massive build up of weaponry and logistics east of the Iraq border and give some thought to most of the cache having been diverted. However, liberals don't even acknowledge 911 as an event, how could they get this one.

The fact is that there were WMDs in Iraq prior to March 2003.
The fact is Saddam Hussein had WMDs and was trying to acquire more.
We are rightly still in Iraq because Al Qaeda, remnants of Saddam Hussein's regime, and Iran are trying to destablize the constitutional Republic of Iraq's government.
It would be a tragic mistake to abandon Iraq now and let it become an Al Qaeda base of operation.
For example:
"The U.S. military is concentrating on a series of offensives to root out al-Qaeda in Iraq from strongholds in Baghdad and a surrounding belt of cities such as Baqubah, 30 miles northeast of the capital. But Bergner said U.S. troops were also staging simultaneous operations in cities such as Mosul to the north and Ramadi to the west to prevent displaced al-Qaeda in Iraq fighters from resurfacing. He said U.S. forces killed or captured 26 al-Qaeda in Iraq leaders during May and June. " (The Philadelphia Inquirer, 12 Jul 07)
"AL-QAEDA in Iraq killed or wounded more than 4000 Iraqis in suicide attacks in the past six months, US military spokesman Brigadier General Kevin Bergner said today.
Bergner said most of these attacks were carried out by foreign-born “terrorists” and that while their numbers are “relatively small ... their effects are very, very devastating on the people of Iraq.”" (The Herald Sun, 11 Jul 07)
Would you rather fight Al Qaeda here or over there?

There's only one thing of value in that area. I'll give you 3 guesses what that is, and it isn't sand and it isn't funny looking people in weird clothes. It's O I L.
Instead of Bush having some foresight, developing alternate energies, more effecient cars etc., no, he blows everybody's tax money atempting to steal oil from a weak country. He makes a lot of big oil friends rich, but he sure screws the average taxpayer and blows a lot of people away with his big trespassing scheme..

Did you actually post this question 5 years ago and it just now made it through cyber-space to appear on Yahoo Answers? For crying out loud, get over the WMD thing. This has been asked and addressed for years. Where have you been?

WMD's were found and they are still there. Saddam used them on the Kurds, I am sure they will beg to differ with you. Over 500 found since 2003. They are still finding mustard gas and sarin. Do some homework, the facts are out there.
