Just watched a documentary on them just awhile ago. Too bad, it was halfway through. Any details or opinion?

The ear cutting is just Bull, common fantasy loved by the producers of so many viet-damn movies.

They do their job to perfection.

Fearless, warrior tradition.

nostradamus02 comments are pure fantasy as well.

nothing.

at least nothing out of the ordinary for what they were.

scythian warriors used to drink blood and wine out of the hollowed skulls of their conquered victims.

egyptians used to take hands as souvenirs - they were supposed to be from the fallen dead, but frequently took them from the wounded survivors as well.

vikings used to attack small unarmed villages, using their broadswords to split their victims heads all the way down to their necks.

during the boer war, the british used to strap prisoners of war to the front of a cannon and fire the thing.

i could go on and on with this list...

They were absolutely ruthless. Also, they loved to cut off ears to keep as battle souvenirs.

The fact that they were fierce blood-thirsty, war-crazy warriors. That would scare me too.
