Hi, im a 23 years old college student, i came to this country illegally when i was 16 in october of 2000 because my dad was living here and he was diagnosed with terminal cancer i was waiting in mexico to get my permanent resident(green card) through my mom, but that was going to take a long time and i knew my dad was going to die and i wasnt going to see him so thats why i came here.
In december 21, 2000 Bill Clinton signed the 245(i) which allows persons to become permanent residents without leaving the U.S. if they were here on or before that date.
So my situation is that i was here since october of 2000 and i already had my interview and they gave 30 days to summit more evidence that i was here at that time.
I have an ATM receipt of a withdrawl that i did in California from my Bank Account in Mexico, and a letter from my church. Please give me some advise.
Would an sworn affidavit by a neighbor count?
would a letter from a Police Officer that i met at that time count?
thanks

Is there something about being in the military that makes people angry about those who haven't? I was once told that since I didn't serve, I have no opinion. Funny thing to say from people who served to insure the rights I have.

Not only are they black listing our brave men and women with their anti-war and anti-troop signs, but if you look closely at the girl in the background, you can see that she's standing on our FLAG!!

Our troops are serving tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, to help liberate those countries while at the same time defending our right to freedom, and this is what they get in return!?

If you could do something about people like this, what would you do?

I understand that campaigns costs money which is supplied by big business, so should all middle and lower class people forget about even trying to get involved in polotics? Theres no rules about having to be wealthy to be eligible in polotics, what do you think?

Does triangulate mean to be able to blend the best of each party's position? If so, please expand. I do not quite understand the meaning. Does it mean to be able to see all sides of an issue or to be able to take all sides of an issue so you are not always on one side?

and yet terrorism has only increased. Isn't it obvious Bush doesn't know what the hell he's doing?

To me the answer on how to stop terrorism is quite straightforward. You can kill hundreds of terrorists each day, but if you don't attack the source, it's not going to make a difference. In fact, it would just add to the propaganda that is used to recruit terrorists.

In order to defeat terrorism, you need to attack its source: RIGHT-WING RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM / SOCIAL CONSERVATISM.

The reason the middle east is so backward is because they have religion in the government and prayer in the school. There is too much "traditional values" over there and not enough progressive values. These people get brainwashed into fundamentalism from day one: from the schools and the government.

The only solution to fundamentalism is LIBERALISM. That means secular schools, secular governments, humanism, feminism, rationalism, science, etc. How exactly you get this done is what is complicated

I know a lawyer has the right to represent who he chooses. And the reason for that is that everyone, including quilty ones have the right to a fair trial. Where do I find that in writing in the ethics or guildlines anywhere?
