What is a Live Earth concert?

It was a WWW (w orld w ide w ank) It will achieve nothing except make some people feel good.

If all of the people that watched 'actually did' something for the environment it may mean something. As it was, all they did was leave TONS of garbage

Live Earth was a collection of simultaneous concerts on seven continents to raise awareness of Global Warming (aka Global Climate Change) issues. It was put on by the same people who did Live Aid in the 1990s.

Carbon Footprint refers to the amount of fossil fuels a person consumes through their daily energy usage.

A concert is where people get together and listen to music. a carbon footprint is an accurate time stamp that can be measured scientifically.

carbon foot print is a measure of how much the person impacts the enviorment around him/her. for example what you take up of the envirment, like going to the bathroom/eating/drinking it's how much you use.

Live Earth is the largest concert in the world starting in brazil, to USA to OCEANIA

It's a way to come together and feel good for awhile as a way to alleviate some rich white liberal guilt over past liberal racism and opression such as slavery and the KKK.
