Wouldnt you be reluctant to pursue the most evil man on the planet? Bush wants Bin Laden but doesnt want to trigger another 9/11, I would rather it be done right than fast.

It'd probably undermine Pakistan's Musharrif (sp?) & ultimately, the whole Iraq campaign. Don't want that fine success going badly just when the insurgency is in its final throes, do we? Also, it would create an unanswerable question, "why are troops in Iraq" among more than 90% of the US populace.

Because if he caught him he'd have to displace all the companies making billions of dollars off of the Iraq war with another illegal invasion on some other unsuspecting country

He already has tried to. What makes you so ignorantly think that he hasn't? There was a time in the beginning of his presidency where he constantly spoke about him and his plan to "pursue" him.

Maybe his attempt was feeble, but at least he did try.

Because he's dead in a cave and what would he do w/out his boogie man to frighten you with?
It's the ideology that he left behind that can't be beaten out of the people who essentially are happy to die to prove that you won't dominate and repress them in their own countries.
