Sounds pretty freaking lame to me maybe some gay french guy made it up or something, or maybe it was one of the nerdy high school kids infatuated with someday being a police officer so he can punish the people who were beating him up in school.

I use it every once in a while. It is sometimes easier when you are talking about a group including more than just the police
