Most liberals are Christian. But we (including Christians) are through tolerating the unGodly and hyprocritical fake s on the religious right.
If they don't like being attacked, there's a simple solution: start following wht christ taught. Christ--not Pat Robertson and his ilk. When and if they start acting as Christinans, we will stop criticizing them.

You seem to be equating "destroying Christianity" with the practice of not allowing the govt to ram Christianity down everyone's throats as a matter of law.
I didn't realize that Christianity was so fragile that merely requiring it to stand equal to all other religions and not get special treatment was tantamount to destroying it.

How can you insult so many Christians by thinking that you can't be liberal and Christian? I know alot of liberal Christians. Are you saying that Christ is a Republican and only answers Republican prayers? Can you be any more superficial about Christ than that?

Liberals don't have to. The Christian Right Wing has pretty much destroyed Christianity as far as I can see.

The best responses to your "question" were given by: univee, coragryph, and lltrix.
I could hardly add anything better to what they said.
And to Ruth: AS IF you cons haven't made your own attempts to weasel agendas into public education!!!!!!!

Because they're both for it and against it. Like all things, Kerry was against gas guslers with high emission rates in New York but rode in a giant SUV when he visited Detroit.

It's not Jesus' teachings liberals are against;
It's these fanatic fundamentalists who think they are crusading in God's name with their narrow interpretations.
