Yesterday I had my vehicle serviced at a local transmission shop (I live in Dallas, Texas) I paid my bill with a Master Card, they ask for my driver license. I found this to be redundant, because a credit card is a form of ID. Then they proceeded to make a photo copy of both, my DL and my credit card. When I questioned this, I got the popular, “It is company policy” response. Is this illegal, or at the very least does it violate Master Card policy?

do democrats believe that everyone is special even if they dont deserve to be special? is everyone entitled to whatever, even if they did nothing for it? is the minority better than the majority? should a native population of 5 million assimilate into the culture of 1 immigrant? are civil rights activists gods? are environmentalists ALWAYS right, no matter what they say? is the government the real parent of everyone, and the only family someone has? is the individual racist and evil? are the beliefs of leftists based upon the beliefs of stalin, lenin, hitler(socialist), and mussolini(fascist)?

I slammed my liberal professor over this in class. He was all "you conservatives need to get with the times". I said you mean the times where EVERYTIME protection of traditional marriage has been put before the people it passes with massive support. Including in LIBERALS states like California and Washington. You mean those times Mr. "hiding out in University because I could never cut it in the private sector" Professor. Among the likeliest effects of gay marriage is to take us down a slippery slope to legalized polygamy , marriage between brother & sister & marriage between you and your pet! Unlike Blacks (liberal straw man argument) Gays can change their behavior and do everyday. What is Ann Heche these days? The Ban on Interracial marriage was stupid and needed to be changed. Liberals need to grow up and take their defeat at the polls like adults and quit whining.

We the people have defeated the Amnesty bill, which was nothing more than a recycled version of the 1988 bill, which failed, which Congress failed to support, which allowed another 12 million or so murdering illegals into our country. Yes, I said murdering.

Illegal aliens kill daily on average 12 American citizens. For you socialist pacifists, that is more than die in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Not only do we have terrorists killing Americans we have illegal aliens doing us in at home.

I am starting a letter writing campaign to congress and will continue daily until I get a commitment from them to require the states to arrest and detain all illegal aliens and to hold/prosecute without bond all who are indicted for felonies, to require USCIS to pickup and deport all of these that are not suspected felons, to fund fully CBP, to give 90 day notice to businesses requiring compliance or have the business closed during investigation.

while ignoring the atrocities of another? So while attempting to take away our rights by attempting to enforce The UNFAIRNESS Doctrine (legal, political coercion at it's best), proposing disarming citizens of their legal right to bare arms, shoving political correctness and progressiveness down the throats of many who might not see things through your eyes and blaming ONE party for taking away your constitutional rights. Do you people ever check out the voting records?

Here's my short story...a judge in Virginia ordered me to pay my ex $900 a month in "spousal support", and $682 in child support...not a big deal right? wrong, at the time of the order I was living in another state, making a net pay of $1800 a month, you do the math..now lets add insult to injury, because federal laws allow only up to 50-70% of your net pay to be taken, (depending on your state), I was able to keep $300 of my bi-weekly pay. My rent was $500 a month, and you can do the math on the rest. I lived alone, and had no vehicle, because I couldnt afford the payment, cash to buy one, nor the money it took to insure and fuel one...Now this madness went on for over a year...after a year do the math, federal law only allowed them to take a portion of the $1582 from me, which means the balance unpaid goes directly to the arrears. Now, I owe her like $10,000 in back support! I send judge copies of paystubs, he sent the back, said to get a lawyer-there are NO free lawyers.. WHAT NOW?

Is it a conspiracy? Is it that the alternatives are not able to produce enough energy? Is it that the alternatives cause their own pollution that would be just as hard to deal with?

I just bought a house 2 weeks ago. While I was in the process of ripping down the walls to do some upgrades, I found much of the wood has been charred and some beams have been sistered (some have not)

The seller never disclosed to us that there was ever a fire in the house.

the house is 97years old, so it could have happened before her.

HOWEVER - the house has brand new windows, and the old molding from the house was saved, and reinstalled.

This means, the owner before us SAW the fire damage even if she didnt cause it.

1. If we can prove it happened while she lived there - do we have any recourse?

2. If we can prove it happned before she lived there, but she definitly KNEW about the fire damage, do we have any recourse?

Why are we not hearing about that in the news. New Orleans was blamed on Bush, and you have the Senator Jefferson, a Democrat from that district, running away with the cash to his freezer? Why are we not in an uproar about that?
