My father is in prison for life? Will I get in trouble if I use his social security number? We have the same name. Like, for an example, college. They want your parents information so if I give them my dads, I should do pretty well money wise. Just wondering how the whole thing works when they go to prison like if their social and stuff are like frozen across the board.

Please could someone help me with this information as I know nothing of military tactics, war or fighting.

How come only 150 have been killed in four years- isn't that just over 30 a year? Like I said I am no expert but surely 30-40 dead a year is next to nothing for an ongoing conflict? I realise we are fighting guerrillas as opposed to a standing army, and therefore enemy weapons and ammunition will be limited compared to those of the UK/US, but even with this taken in to account, why the small numbers of casualties...for example; what was the equivalent number of British war dead during the Troubles, in a 4 year period (for all I know it might be even lower)?

Please help me understand this. I am in no way being deliberately disrespectful to Allied troops and of course do not condone a single death, let alone 150, but I am neither pro-, nor anti-, the current war in Iraq as I don't know enough to form an opinion. I'd just like to know the answer to the above query.

Thanks!

POLITICOS - Here's a question just for fun: Who is a likely choice for VP in each party? WAIT - read below before you answer....

During nomination campaigns, press and public constantly assume that nominees will choose their running mates from among the other contenders for President (hence ad nauseum speculation of a Clinton-Obama ticket).

REALITY CHECK: Aside from Kerry-Edwards in 04, it hasn't happened since 1980, when Reagan tapped G. H. W. Bush. Nearly every nominee for VP since then has been taken from OUTSIDE the ranks of those running for Prez in a given year (and don't say Gore - he ran for Prez in 88, not 92).

So STRETCH your imaginations! OUTSIDE of declared candidates (and let's include Fred Thompson in that), who do you think are likely to be on VP short lists in 2008?

I understand the fact that the imigrants are breaking the law. That some of them are criminals, literally. But what about the "Imigrants" that came to the US with a Visa of their country and stayed here. The ones that are working in a FACTORY with legal ID and are paying taxes every year[like my dad's friend] Dont you think they deserve to be rewarded in the US to be legals?
I think the government should like at least search for ALL the imigrants and reward the ones that are paying taxes, the ones that came with Visa and stuff like that. Put yourselfves in their shoes: you came here to the US to have a better life, u left your family, your mother to get you butt back to your country.
I also read that some of you wrote that they should go back to their country and come back in legally...HELLO thats gonna take a long time, even more if you get deported.
No to be racist or anything but I've seen that hispanics are the ones that work their *** in tha factory. 2 be continued

I am 21 years old and I have basically raised my 15 year old sister by myself from the time she was born up until a few years ago. My step mom takes really good care of her and loves her, but my sister isn't happy there. I was molested by my father and I am afraid he might molest her too, if he hasn't already. I want to take her from there. She wants to be with me also and I only want what's best for her. She is also chronically depressed and she has said she wants to kill herself. I know I can help her because when I was around she was so happy and cheerful. Please tell me if there is any way to get her. How do I start?
