I cannot believe such a question has been asked! To compare the circumstances of war with the systematic killing of millions--the industrialized extermination of a race--is beyond comprehension. Is it even conceivable that the young people of the United States have forgotten the horrors of World War II? If so, intense history lessons are imperative.

President Bush is not my hero. In fact, I thoroughly oppose the direction he has led this country. Nevertheless, to compare him to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis is truly out of line.

For the record: I am neither Jewish, nor Republican, nor right wing, nor conservative. You, Sir, are talking about an American President who has served within the legitimate confines of the separation of powers. If he should be tried in Nuernburg, then so should we all.

Do you really know what the Nazis were and that Nuremberg was only used for the trial of the Nazis not something that has been done since the 40's. First of all Bush has not violated any US or international law and if America's enemies made an attempt on our president's life we would launch a full scale war on them. You need to read your history and have real facts as to what are war crimes or illegal acts before you attempt to write questions on an adult site.

There has been and is a significant campaign to have Henry Kissinger charged with war crimes against humanity. Many respected international jurists contend that sufficient evidence exists to arrest Kissinger and try him at the World Court.

This sadly will never happen for as usual the powerful can get away with murder and crimes against humanity with impunity .

The closest they came to "getting Kissinger" was when A.Pinochet was arrested in England on charges of crimes against humanity(Kissinger who was the mastermind behind the vile toppling and murder of the DEMOCRATICALLY elected Allende of Chile in 1973 who put the vile Pinochet into power). The US government made it very clear to Britain that it should not allow Pinochet to be sent to trial as such a trial would lay bare the atrocities of Kissinger, the CIA ,the US.

Obediently,Britain ultimately decided that poor old Pinochet was near death and his health prevented Britain from moving Pinochet to Spain which had issued the arrest warrant.

Of course,Pinochet was no where near death and lived for another nine years (I believe) .

All of this to say, that Bush is in the eyes of many including again reputable international jurists ,is guilty of war crimes.

Bush's war was totally illegal by International Law as were are many of the operations carried out including the torture and slaughter of prisoners .

From a moral viewpoint, the most obscene travesty of all was Bush et al KNOWINGLY LIED about the reasons for going to war which has resulted in the slaughter of 3000 plus US soldiers and over 400,000 innocent Iraqis.

IN PRINCIPLE and in essence, comparisons between Bush and the nazi regime is perfectly
justified and evidenced.

The only difference with Bush is his crimes against humanity have not been as extensive and brutal as that of the nazis .

Remember a few things.First those who revealed the covered up crime against humanity in Vietnam called Mi Lai were almost universally demonized and spit upon by most Americans.

A few weeks back 60 Minutes had a piece on the soldier who publically revealed the horrors of prisoner treatment by the US in Iraq. This laudable ,moral soldier has been vilified, demonized by the Legion, his town, his state for having the gall to "expose " these horrid crimes .He still recieves many death threats.

There are many more such repulsive evidences about how Americans want to cover up all sorts of crimes .

All of this to say ,that the majority of Americans consider that crimes against humanity, genocides tortures etc are NEVER to be exposed/revealed and those that do so are TRAITORS .
Once again the monumentally hypocritical American (majority, not all) puts "loyalty" before the moral/ethical dictates of their CHRISTIAN FAITH .

Given all this and much more, these incredibly amoral Christians thesev Christians led by the top banana Christian Bush should fall on their knees and beg God's/Christ's forgiveness.

Instead these morally bankrupted souls rationalize their barbarism by saying ,"The others are worse than we are ".

FATHER FORGIVE THEM .

And to think it was the US who led the charge at Nurenburg,What a bloody joke.

Things a little quiet in kindergarten this morning, eh? Actually, this guy's question fits the liberal template perfectly. If you can't attack a conservative with facts, make something up, get as many people as possible to repeat it ad nauseum, and your fellow non-thinkers on the left will buy it. They feed on each other's frustration that their party is not running things.

He won't be on trial at all. He has committed no crimes. When will the fools of the world understand the real actual truth?
