Since he isn't running as President, I have to assume he genuinely cares about the environment.

The better question might be how much CO2 (not to mention other greenhouse gases) was produced by each of the celebrities and bands who flew to the act (no doubt many in private jets), stage set up, electricity to run the whole show, and the electricity used to run TV's where folks at home watched the show.
I am guessing a fairly large carbon footprint was created by this show. But never worry, since Al Gore chairs a carbon offset company, maybe he (and other involved) bought some offsets to compensate for all that CO2 generated by the show. :-)
I think I will save the electricity and keep the T.V. off.

Professor Junk Science has no accomplishments. Convincing those on the left that the sky is falling is child's play. There is no global warming, and Algore is certainly not a conservationist. Most liberals are probably watching the rock concert and getting high. Conservatives are too busy improving America to waste their time with that sort of thing. Fluff doesn't count.

Gore is a Capitalist. He is laughing all the way to the bank on the backs of people he is trying to brain wash with all of this global warming hype.
How the 'masses' can't see this is way beyond me!
I wonder if they are selling carbon off-set credits at the show? A company he partly owns. LOL!

If someone likes Madonna, they are going to watch. If somebody likes Metallica, they are going to watch. The number of viewers doesn't reflect the number of people who support Gore and his environmentalism work, it reflects the number of people who like the musicians at the concerts.

He needs to find the correct human caused dilemma instead of his farce of human caused Global Warming. If he fought this hard to feed the hungry I think people would take him more seriously. I have an answer related to Global Warming here...http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070707113427AAZ3AHN&r=w#R8J9X2a_AjXvmxEMdleGMk0RlkJfCeZ9AIc8rV1PsakRSn1Vac5e
