News Corp - parent of Fox News, the Washington Times, NY Post, and soon to own the Wall Street Journal. They paid nothing for two of the four years, and very little in the other two.

Funny - I thought we had 50 million uninsured americans, a still skyrocketing national debt, and a "war" in Iraq to pay for.

True conservatism got lost under the neocon insanity.

Excellent article from the NY Times talking about Murdoch and his close ties to the government;

If a woman throws a drink in a man's face or slaps him for being verbally abusive or inappropriate, can he file charges against her, for assault, battery, things like that? Just theoretically . . .

I hurt my back last December on the job. I informed my manager at the time and continued to do my job as we were in the middle of a remodel. Recently my Area Manager threatened to fire me if called in or left early because of my back one more time. I told him that this injury happened at work last December. He suggested that I take a leave to get my life in order. I'm seriously looking into changing careers.
I would like to know my rights in this situation.

I'm turning 18 next year and I don't really want to live the average civilian life, I'd like to have a little excitement at least and do something meaningful, you know, be known for something. Anyways, my mom is really anti war and my dad could care less if i joined. So the only thing holding me back really is my mom, I don't want to disrespect her, but I want to do something with my life still.

Have you had enough of Iran's meddling in Iraq yet? They are responsible for quite a few deaths from the IED's that they are sending to Al Qaeda to use against our troops.

I personally think he was not guilty. He said he didn't do it and if he did he would be lieing. By the way I am white and I just think he wasn't even involved of killing his wife. Why would a great actor and a great ex Buffalo Bills running back would do it. He's more innocent if anything so he did not do it.

Bush has basically appointed himself the "Power" to over throw Congress and everyone else in the event of a "Catastrophic emergency". So if "ANYONE" (Conveniently.) does something to harm a large amount of American's, WE will basically be at Bush's mercy. He would Decide on Anything, without needing Authority from Anyone else.
"Catastrophic emergency" is loosely defined as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions."
the president can assume the power to direct any and all government and business activities until the emergency is declared over. Something to Think about, when someone speaks about a "war on terror" - it's not likely to have a foreseeable end.
So lets hope nothing Catestrophic happens again ever but Especially while Bush is in office, because it also means he can stay in office past his Term.=(

I personally think he's dead. The last time we saw him he looked like a dead man talking. And what is the one thing that would fire up his followers? To see him on the worlds media thumbing his nose at the west. But nothing.

I have some pest that keeps e-mailing me and calling me a yellowbelly because I am not in Iraq. If I was 21 I might join. My nephew is becoming a seal. In training and with honors. Hell week is yet to come.
Why do libs insist I should be in Iraq. Just because I voted for Bush? We all wish we weren't attacked on 9/11. I wish the USS Cole wasn't attacked. We cons are dearly sorry for the loss of life and our injured soldiers.

I'm asking this because I really want to know. This is a straight question, no games, so I hope I won't get games in return. Are Democrats trying to find scandal with Bush because Republicans impeached Clinton? Because it seems to a conservative like me that Democrats have left no stone un-turned for most of Bush's Presidency where it comes to scandal seeking.

Which is more important? Being loyal to one's party, or being loyal to the American people? So it's not much sense in bashing one another. I say, let's have debates like mature adults and listen to one another's concerns and ideas. Let's not turn this into a war between Democrats and Republicans, Liberals and Conservatives. Whaddya say?

"A country divided cannot stand."

Thank you for your time.

Many liberals believe everything George W Bush says is a lie. They also gush over how wonderful Ted Kennedy is.

So how can they reconcile Bush saying, "Senator Kennedy is one of the best legislative senators there is."

"Senator Kennedy is one of the best legislative senators there is. He can get the job done. I know firsthand, because we reformed our education system," Bush said at a March news conference in Mexico.
