Senators running for president this next election have made the comment “If I am elected President I will fix the health care system by….” Each of the candidates that is currently a senator is being paid a good salary and benefits that far exceeds the average man’s income, so if they have a plan why do we have to wait until the next election?

If a candidate is ineffective, refuses to make changes while senator and/or spends more time campaigning than focusing on the needs of their state and our country, what makes this candidate even a consideration to be president?

Why not cut executive-branch funding for the VP's office?
The heart of the issue, as Helen Thomas put it is "Vice President Cheney is refusing to allow an inspection of his office by the National Archives' Information Security Oversight Office. Isn't that a clear contempt of President Bush's own executive order?" This issue is not going away.

if an adult girl 'initially' gives consent to have sex with a guy, but as they get going, the guy starts to get aggressive, and violent. by that time the girl no longer wants to have sex, so she repeatedly asks him to stop. but the guy wouldn't. and he starts using force while she tries to stop him using verbal and physical signs. (pushing him away, screaming, crying, punching, slapping and kicking).
The whole act in the end results in multiple bruises, bleeding lip a torn nipple and a crying girl. and one satisfied drunken man.
how would you define this??

If the Law is Innocent until proven guilty, why do we lock people in cages until they prove they are innocent?

I am a very open minded 56 year old retired teacher who loves all people, but I am sick to death of having to be bilingual to get a job. For God's sakes, we live in USA and our native language is Indian of course, but since then I believe English to be the main language. I have lived in a small OR town for 33 years, where the KKK began and so it has been very white up until the last 15 years, and that is fine, I love all races, but when I can't get a job of any kind, motel, hospital, dr office teaching anything that sometimes only takes 1/2 the IQ and experience I have because I don't speak Spanish something is wrong. You may not agree with this but how about when they add Russian and Swahili, and French and all those as is bound to be. How about if you can't text but you can type 100 wpm on computer. Discrimination , reverse discrimination, is not right !!! I want it changed and I will work on it until the day I die so tell me how to get our nation to adopt English
