Is it still UCLA/Berkeley?

In 1934 UCLA Provost Ernest Moore stated that his own campus was “the worst hotbed of communism in America.” Later that year, Moore dismissed four students, including the student body president, from the university for “communist activity.”

In 1948, following a luncheon with UCLA Provost Clarence Dykstra, the L.A. Times called the campus “one of Communism’s prime postwar educational targets.”

In 1969, the University of California Board of Regents, having discovered that an assistant professor in the department of philosophy, ordered Chancellor Charles E. Young to fire admitted Communist Party member Angela Davis.

If you ever thought the phrase "wild-eyed Communist" was some kind of exaggeration, take a look at this...

It seems to me that those cars you see with all the flags, ribbons, and stickers are some of the most inconsiderate drivers on the road. Are they filled with their emotion? Are political affiliations causing them anxiety? Are more of these people on their "own wagon"? What's the deal here?

"In a construction project that will eventually reach across 2,050 miles, hundreds of rivers and long stretches of forests and fields, India has been quietly sealing itself off from Bangladesh, its much poorer neighbor. Sections totaling about 1,550 miles have been built the past seven years....

In the United States, the decision to fence 700 miles of the Mexican border triggered months of political debate ranging across issues from immigration reform to the environmental impact. When Israel announced it would build a 425-mile barrier around the West Bank, an international outcry erupted.

But there has been barely a ripple over India's far larger project, launched in earnest in 2000 amid growing fears in New Delhi about illegal immigration and cross-border terrorism.

"........The massive bill, involving a wide range of humanitarian programs, was approved in the middle of the night on Friday.
Similar measures on aid to Saudi Arabia have been passed by the House before.
But the latest bill goes a step further by closing a legislative loophole that in the past had allowed the administration of President George W.Bush to waive these bans by invoking requirements of the war on terror. ......."

My son was born an American citizen to my fiance and I who are both British.

We are thinking about moving back to England with our son who is only 5 weeks old.

Do we need to make him a British citizen before we can live there or some kind of permanent resident card so he can live there?? Or does it make no difference since he is only a baby?

It is time The People, as recognized in the Constitution, not those simply living in the United States, should be able to say we want a President who will try his/her best to accomplish certain goals WE set.
What good is it to relate our desires to our Senate and Congress, such as illegal aliens, when the President can override the will of The People to reinstate the immigration amnesty bill he loves so well. It is not something working citizens desire, and it is not truly lawful to allow those who bear the law to change the law if the President favors them over his citizens. What faith can be given to these new laws, when we now have little to no faith of the current laws?
Will they really, no REALLY, arrest aliens as they should be arresting them now, or will it be status quo? At what point do The People relinquish their country as a product for the President to sell to aliens? When The People would be better off as aliens than citizens, how should we proceed in America?

It's clear that nobody wants mob boss Guiliani to be their president. He's already shown that he will grandstand in a time of crisis and then use fear mongering as a pretext to keep control over people. No one wants that anymore.

And the media clearly wants to pretend that Ron Paul doesn't exist even though he's won every major mainstream media poll and garners the most support on the internet.

So what do the Republicans have now? They have to push this Fred Thompson becuase they have no one else?
