Seriously are we doing shows for the troops like we used to? I never hear about it if we do.

Of course I know he's dead. I mean HIS shows helped elevate patriotism and humanize our solders. He provided a valuable service and I miss his kind of spirit.

The uso is nothing now a days. Not like when Bob was around. We do have so patriotic performers and stars doing concerts etc on their own. Too bad isn't it?

The USO is there to serve the troops right along with Charlie Daniels, who received a DOD award for it recently.

Yup. You didn't hear about all the other people when he was alive, but the USO still functions and actors, singers, dancers, still visit camps. Look up the USO on the net and give them some support.

What!!! Gee Drew Carey and several others did more than one tour....Jesse James went there and built a car....it's only the left that ignores the troops.

I have heard of Joan Jett, Kid Rock, and Kiss among others doing USO shows.

I haven't heard about anyone special going over to entertain these troops--it's a shame...
