The most glaring thing is; "...we reformed our education system..." Since this p.resident - our educational system has tanked! (I am stealing your "p.resident" i like it!!!)

I don't think President Bush agrees with what he said about Senator Kennedy. This is about legislative nice making. This is legislative equivalent of "no, that dress doesn't make you look fat."

Personally, as a senator I like Ted Kennedy, but as a human being not so much.

We have good men and women in government trying their best in patriotic ways to get the job done. They differ on how, but there is a reason they usually end the day together somewhere, regardless of their political positions, relaxed and socializing as friends: they know what is really at stake, and have little interest in the total misconceptions most of the public has regarding their work.

There are a lot of good things to be said about our representatives. Those things aren't news. They are common, uninteresting. The public expects to see the worst, and if they don't, they assume it must be a lie.

Pitiful way to demonstrate your world view, wouldn't you agree?

Bless the President for seeing the good Senator Ted Kennedy has done over the years despite their disagreements over policy.

That's American. That's how I see all of you. That's how I hope you'll see me, if I deserve it. If I earn it.

He is one of the best Senators the nation has ever seen. Education reform may not have been the best example Bush could've come up with. Why not Kennedy's fight for higher minimum wage?

I may think that Kennedy is one of the sorriest human beings alive, but I have to agree with what Bush said. Kennedy is very capable of getting things enacted through the legislative process. He knows the system/process excellently, regardless of his pathetic values. That's why he's been in office for so long, among other reasons such as extreme wealth. God Bless you.

the concern isn't basically Kennedy. If every physique in Congress or different extreme political place grow to be put in the comparable concern because of the fact the wounded squaddies, some thing could have been accomplished long, some time past. they have their worldwide crammed with perks ...and the peons get the leftovers. could desire to you think of a Senator, President or Congressman getting submit in a mildew infested room?

I don't agree but I am not surprised. They didnt reform the education system they set it on a course for destruction. Both parties work together all the time, they just make we the people think they hate each other, and keep us busy with wedge issues so we dont pay attention to the big picture.

Why do I get the feeling that whatever is passed will have enough loopholes to drive a truck thorough. They have not only passed the Leave no child behind Act , now they are conspiring on the Leave no illegal behind Act, be they gang bangers or child molester, talk about the Odd Couple

No, I do not agree what President George W. Bush says about Senator Kennedy. President needs to stop saying stuff about other people, mindin' his own business and keep it to himself. Nobody cares what President Bush says ado about nothing.
