" Senior Pentagon advisor Richard Perle said Russia "should be excluded" from the Group of Eight (G8) industrial nations for its arrest at gunpoint of its top oil baron, it was reported. "Not one of the G8 countries would allow itself to behave in such a way with one of its leading businessmen," the US Defence Department advisor said of the arrest last Saturday of the head of the Yukos oil giant Mikhail Khodorkovsky in an interview published Thursday in the business daily Kommersant, warning that Russia was "heading in the wrong direction." Khodorkovsky, whose oil group is the centre of a wide-ranging fraud investigation, was surrounded by armed security forces in a dawn raid at an airport in Siberia while he was on a business trip and flown back to Moscow. He was charged on seven counts of fraud, including one of embezzling the state of more than one billion dollars, and imprisoned. The arrest has been widely seen in Moscow as politically motivated, with Khodorkovsky having financed opposition parties ahead of December 7th parliamentary elections. As quoted by Kommersant, Perle said he hoped "the US administration will not allow Russian companies to return" to Iraq, noting that Washington had "liberated the Iraqis from the monstrous regime of Saddam Hussein with which Russian had fruitfully cooperated for a long time."

It seems to me that we're heading toward destruction. Modern democracies are corrupt and appear more like national socialism structures. Giving up democracy is not the answer, quite the opposite, it is the ideal structure but modern democracies are so corrupted by those in power. Was this the vision of our forefathers?

I work for a bar for 3 freaking years got in a car accident lost all in 1 week pay my car cash what was left 4 k pay my medical bills 2 k (cause i cant get insurance) I have the money i want to get insurance i just cant do it ... i almost didnt finish my classes in schoool got to college witch i pay for ( i dont get financial aid) and out of 3 year of work I CANT GET WELFARE BECAUSE I DONT GOT A VALID SOCIAL.... Islam is not a race, it is a religion that teaches a set of beliefs, if you criticize Islam you are criticizing of beliefs not a race. If you think otherwise please let me know.

It is reported that China is illegally selling body parts.

HOWEVER

China is a signatory to the WHO accords that expressly forbids sales of body parts and taking parts without the donors written permission. This year, a Chinese national was elected Chair of that organization.

China also has made such practices against the law. Not only is it illegal to sell parts, it is also illegal to obtain parts even from condemned prisoners without written permission.

Therefore, since there are laws in place in China and an international organization that forbids such practices and has elected a Chinese citizen as Chair, wouldn't it be prudent to believe the two facts above as proof that no such thing is happening over organizations and hate groups that have an obvious axe to grind?

Why is this misinformation continually believed and reported?

Does anyone remember that only a few years ago 11 September that we had a major invasion on US soil, caused due to the lack of security brought about by eight years of Clinton not doing his job. I also read a lot about the "innocent Iraqis" that are dying in Iraq. Does anyone sitting in their cushy chair in their living room really understand what is going on in Iraq? You can watch CNN, FOX, or any TV station using your remote control from the couch. If you want to *****, moan, groan and complain, then get on a plane and come to Iraq and visit one of the FOBs (Forward Operating Base) and get a real picture in your head. I would rather be Sitting on a pile of sandbags in Iraq (which is where I am now) listening to mortars and rockets come into our base camp, than have to watch terrorists bomb our buildings on American Soil again. The threat from AL QAIDA is still very real. Would you rather us fight from New York to California, or fight the BA$TARD$ in the Middle East? U CHOOSE
