Does anyone remember that only a few years ago 11 September that we had a major invasion on US soil, caused due to the lack of security brought about by eight years of Clinton not doing his job. I also read a lot about the "innocent Iraqis" that are dying in Iraq. Does anyone sitting in their cushy chair in their living room really understand what is going on in Iraq? You can watch CNN, FOX, or any TV station using your remote control from the couch. If you want to *****, moan, groan and complain, then get on a plane and come to Iraq and visit one of the FOBs (Forward Operating Base) and get a real picture in your head. I would rather be Sitting on a pile of sandbags in Iraq (which is where I am now) listening to mortars and rockets come into our base camp, than have to watch terrorists bomb our buildings on American Soil again. The threat from AL QAIDA is still very real. Would you rather us fight from New York to California, or fight the BA$TARD$ in the Middle East? U CHOOSE

I'm sure the little liberals, who have never known a day of hardship, nor have ever been in danger, nor have ever been lacking for anything, who have no concept of what is required to protect their freedoms, and who have never done a single thing to protect the country that has lavished them with their every desire, will be rushing to their travel agents to book a flight for the war zone to see what is really going on in the world. Why should they, though, when they have people like you who are willing to carry their share of the load? They view groups like the JFK Airport plotters and the Dix Six as conservative exaggerations not worthy of their attention. They are oblivious to the fact that Europe is already being overrun by hoards of muslims to the point that if present demographic trends continue, all of Europe will be islamic within 50 years. And then when the muslims start closing in on North America the liberals will shrug their little shoulders, nervously giggle, and wonder what happened. All one has to do is watch the TV interviews with the demonstrators who are attacking the police at the G8 summit in Rostock to see what mindless children they are. The response to intelligent questions, like "Why are you doing this?" are usually nervous giggles, no verbal response other than attacking western culture, and more masked rock throwing. The same thing happened in Seattle several years ago during the WTO riots. These people are not protestors, they are merely kids and 20-somethings who want an excuse to raise h***. Luckily there are people like the questioner who are willing to step up to the plate. Hua!

Criticizing is permitted, yet Democrats additionally are exposing George W. Bush and his "sturdy previous boy" cronies for attempting to be not purely the administrative branch of government, however the Judicial and Legislative branches besides. Iraq replaced right into a mistake, and liberals besides as conservatives are conscious that scuffling with a conflict on terrorism, which the US is doing in Afghanistan the place Osama bin weighted down, and Muhammad Atef, Al Qaeda and the Taliban have been till the Bush regime desperate to make the assaults of 9-eleven their "own precedence conflict". With the Republican party on top of problems with the Presidency, and the two homes of congress, Democrats would be unable to sh*t or get off the pot till George W. Bush is censured, so permit's roll!

Sorry to let you know the Truth man:

1. There was no Al Qaida and Iraq connection.
2. Clinton is the only president that came close enough to kill Bin Ladin.
3. Where is Bin Ladin? Shouldn't that be your mission?
4. If fighting them in Iraq will absolutely keep us safe, why the no fly lists, why the Patriot Act, why the illegal wire taps?
5. What is your mission?
6. What is the definition of victory?
7. What is the strategy to that victory?
8. Why is Iraqi freedom worth more than your life?
9. Are you an International Peace Soldier or the United States' Soldier?

Thanks for everything you do daily and everything everyone else there with you does. I wouldn't compare even to your pinky finger. What you do is noble, brave and honorable.
You were cheated into going to war with lies by a wannabe tyrant, we will try everything to bring you home safe.

Sounds like you're barking up the wrong tree. The American citizens, you know the one's you're protecting, freedom of speech, etc., well, they've come to realize that George Bush lied about this war for his friend's corporate gain.

What's more patriotic? Defending your country's real principals or supporting a corrupt regime? Robert Tenet, former head of the CIA has come out and blown the whistle about how the CIA was pushed to lie about WMDs they knew never existed.

Listen, man, if you were my countryman, I'd be like, get that guy out of there - he's been hoodwinked. Canadians are fighting like hell in Afghanistan - the mission we all agreed on. Maybe if you weren't wasting your time in Iraq, you'd catch an actual terrorist...Osama Bin Laden -

I don't mean to rag on ya, man, but I'm in Canada and honestly, I don't give two craps what America does. But honestly, it sucks to see someone tricked into putting their lives on the line. Because I don't think Haliburton's gonna give you a big fat bonus check. And gas, by the way, is over $3.00 a gallon.

I hardly call 19 hijackers a "major" invasion - a major breech of security, yes.

If everyone in Iraq is guilty, why haven't you systematically lined the citizens up against walls and shot the lot? I think I have the right to "moan, groan and complain" when innocent people are being killed - or doesn't it matter because they're Muslims?

I agree with you that life for the soldier on the front is very different to how the media portrays it - and I don't criticise the majority of soldiers because they are only doing their job. Which is why I'm criticising Bush.

Whether or not Al Qaeda's threat is large is irrelevant to the war in Iraq. Are you really quite so indoctrinated to believe that because there's a war in Iraq Al Qaeda can't spare a couple of hundred people necesary to carry out another terrorist attack - which would be FAR more of a coup than just another suicide bomb in Baghdad? Sure, you may be killing some of them in Iraq - but if they really wanted to hurt you it won't make a blind bit of difference what's going on in Iraq.

Stew, you sound very angry and afraid. The only problem is that you've been brainwashed by Bushco. The Iraqi's had absolutely, read my lips, absolutely nothing to do with 911. The men on the planes were Saudi Arabian.

Is it surprising that the Iraqis are fighting so hard to reclaim their country from the invaders? Wouldn't you do the same thing if someone destroyed your country?

Your problem is that you need to get your info from somewhere other than CNN and Fox. All Bushco has succeeded in doing is empowering terrorist groups in the Middle East and making it MORE likely that there will be further attacks. I just hope to God they're not nuclear.

First of all go read the historically verifiable FACTS contained in thr cited website below.

Make absolutely no mistake that 9/11 resulted from a combination of US and the West's actions over the decades.

Just read the very partial list of henous atrocities that the US has committed against other countries, other peoples ESPECIALLY the dispicable US overthrowing of the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED Iranian government in 1953
and it's replacement by the US of the filthy murderous dictator, the Shah of Iran who for the next 26 years murdered/killed anyone who threatened his filthy US supported dictatorship.

In this case ,the problem was that the stupid Iranians had this wierd idea that THEIR natural resourses were THEIR's to decide what to do with but of course the US does not allow other countries to control their own resourses when in fact the US needs/wants these resourses.

This is but one small example of why many in the world hate the US especially in the Middle East.

The simple FACT is ,that if ANY country dared DO UNTO THE US what the US has done onto others, that country (*like Vietnam and Iraq) will simply be carpet bombed and punished with the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocents.

Are you in your war mongering/justifying arrogance, ignorance and stupidity doubting the fact that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT IRAQI men, women and children have and are being slaughtered as a direct result of Bush's illegal war??

If you are ,you are simply deranged and are moral/ethical bankrupt.

You also condone taking the fight to other countries and the inevitable slaughter of more innocents.I am sure Christ would be proud of you.

Let's take a look at another war the US has taken to other countries and that is the war on drugs.

Now try to follow this grasshopper. There is a drug problem in the US because AMERICANS USE ILLEGAL DRUGS .

The US government's solution is NOT TO DEAL WITH THE CAUSE of the drug problem which is AMERICANS THEMSELVES but rather go to other countries.

In Columbia and elsewhere ,the US is funding massive campaigns to stop the drug dealers which involves carpet bombing many areas of these coutries (shades of Vietnam) and the inevitable slaughter of innocents along with a few real drug pushers.

In fact, the US morally/ethically needs to not capet bomb other countries to stop the drugs but to carpet bomb areas of the US where the drug users live

This of course would not be allowed for an American life is a sacred thing while an Iraqi,Vietnamese,Columbian etc life is relatively worthless and as the US military calls the "COLATERAL DAMAGE".
`
As an aside, can you imagine the uproar if the victims of 9/11 were described as "COLATERAL DAMAGE".

US HYPOCRICY and double standards remains supreme.

So you see grasshopper, all Americans have to do is first STOP USING ILLEGAL DRUGS and the markets will dry up and die and stop doing the astrocities cited in the url provided and you will have no more 9/11s.

I hope you and your loved ones are not in an area where the US is going to carpet bomb but if you are ,I will have as much or as little compassion for you as you have for others.

How extrordinary that you associate being in Iraq with 911, even GB now says they are unconnected. It was Saudis who were the main hijackers.
Saddam was an enemy of al Qaida, and they were not operating in Iraq like they are now.
If you really are in Iraq I respect that you believe you are doing the right thing, but from here it looks like you're helping to steal the Iraqi's natural resources for a select few.
And no I am not a sympathiser of any sort of terrorist action, it is evil and wrong in any context.

Let me point out that, in George Bush's own words, Iraq had NO CONNECTION with 9/11, and he's able to only conjecture about whether Iraq might possibly have had some "connections" with Al-Queda. Putting everything else aside for a moment, can you really justify invading a country if you think, possibly, without any evidence, that you might have had a connection with someone else who committed a heinous act?

On that system of justice, we ought to be bombing Paris. How ridiculous is that? Well, actually, since the U.S. funded Al-Queda back in the 1980's, perhaps it is us who had the stronger connection. What perversity.

I'm no friend of Saddam, and I cry no tears for his demise. But to propose that we should go to Iraq in response for 9/11 stretches all credibility.

Bush's policies are failing and you yourself just proved it. 9/11 happened almost 7 years ago and you said, "The threat from AL QAIDA is still very real". Bush has done nothing but get thousands of people killed and stir up a hornet's nest in the Middle East. Yes, I'm watching this on TV just as I did when our troops were in Vietnam. We lost because LBJ and Company f*cked up just the way Bush is doing now. I appreciate greatly your service to our country but I don't have to like Bush.
