You are correct sir.

That is like calling me a racist because I'm against illegal immigration.
Illegal immigrants come in all shapes, colors and sizes yet I've been called a racist because I don't like illegal immigration.

Makes a lot of sense doesn't it?

People criticize Christianity all the time yet that is not racists, most of the time people find it to be funny. I for one don't. Islam its self is not bad religion, I feel that it is an untrue religion but it is peaceful. People who are criticizing are the radical Islams. The ones that want to use their faith as a reason to kill. This is not a race.

Like too many people, your problem is simple ignorance or stupidity or arrogance or racism itself (or a combination of all three)which I suspect it is and this inane post of yours certainly attests too.

Go to Merriam -Webster and type in RACE .(Come on,you can do it ).

Race is defined as "..a family, tribe, people or nation belonging to the same stock...."

So you see grasshopper, your problem starts right at the beginning with your assinine, ignorant, invalid premise from which you of course go on to make similar conclusions.

More importantly, the mere critizing of Islam (or Jews or anything) in and of itself is NOT racist by any stretch of the imagination.

It really is all about HOW the critizism is made, what wordage is used and the underlining motivation for the critisism.

Garbage in ,garbage out!!!!!!

They are stupid. I criticize Islam, I don't have a problem with Arabs. Is usually people like that who try to be PC that actually don't know the difference between religion and race.

Because we've demonized the word to the point that it's well overused. The question could as easily apply to those people who are against illegal immigration. Hispanic is not a race.

That has some parallels to the Conservative Christians who believe that just because you don't want a theocratic government where Pat Robertson and James Dobson get to run the show then that makes you a "Communist 'secular-progressive' who wants to punch Baby Jesus in the face."

There are a lot of "rednecks" on here who wouldn't know the difference between a faith or a belief.

The fact that they lump ALL Moslems into the "terrorist/extremist" group is further proof of their ignorance. It's the same brainlessness operative in Christians extremists believing they speak for all Christians.

Moreover, such critics know little of the beliefs . . . they pick and choose . . . whether it be from the Quran or the Bible to "prove" their very sick thoughts.

if you are abusing people or mocking them based on they're nationality, or religious beliefs - the affect to that person is exactly the same as racism. Some people slag of the irish and make jokes, the irish are not a race but it's affects have exactly the same emotional impact as if they were black..or a race.

There are many forms of stealing, rape and even murder and there are many forms of racism..each as bad as the next. Even though there isn't a legal definition the affects are the same on the person being abused, and they should have the exact same legal protection from it frankly.
The fact that they don't, is just symptomatic of the scrwed up world we live in.

It not racist but...
Most criticisms are not based on facts, or normal practices.
If you take the Bible literally we would be stoning adulterers and rampant incest
