Okay, before I get blasted here for being sexist, let me make it CLEAR that I would gladly support a candidate of either sex. In fact, women have proven on many levels that they are ever bit as capable, if not more capable than men on handling pressures of higher office. I am a republican, but when I saw Hillary enter the race, I did not groan...I paid attention.

In the past, women candidates for President and VP have always been a major handicap. Let's face it, we are traditionalists. It is the "Man's White House". This time around, however, Americans seem to be looking past the gender lines and seeing the female candidate for what she is...a serious contender.

My worry is this: Is what was once a metaphorical "albatross" now a boon in the party's favor? Is the NOVELTY of a female candidate, together with the admiration of the way she handled Bill's scandal making her a front runner?

I'm not opposed to Hillary. I'm just wondering if Americans are looking at the bigger picture.

he is dead and gone, so why have some so called "compassionate liberals" mounted an attack upon a dead man? One who never was charged with a crime, who did not reign ore a nation, did not kill people. I'm not even a Christain, but I believe in showing some respect.

We know their views on abortion and even on the BushWar for Oil in Iraq. They may mentioned the 'environment', but do any of them have any deep thought or feelings about ordinary working folks like the 99% of us who type in these posts? I'm sure I'll get posts about the 'liberals', but let's stay focused on the ten debaters at this point.

The gas companies already have their money when they sold the gas to your local station. So by not buying gas for a day, you are really just hurting your local economy. But don't worry: It doesn't hurt it that much. They make it up the next when everyone that didn't buy gas for a day buys it the next day. So it all evens out in the end.

So what really did the gas boycott yesterday accomplish?

Now, with tax cuts, where would we find money to keep up caring for the wounded soldiers over the years and years? And where would we find the money to feed all the public school students with the healthier and more expensive nutritious school meals that parents demand? Guess more borrowing from foreign nations despite the accumulative interest rates on the heavy debt remaining unpaid?

It was supposed to be a gas strike yesterday, I didn't by any gas what so ever although I urgently needed some. I just feel like the gas prices are ridiculous I pay about 3.00 a gallon for gas and this is maddning. The government is just taking total advantage of the people, they see that we are willing to pay for this gas and only complain but there needs to be a resistance we all need to march to the white house and protest these gas prices bad enough we can barely maintain our homes and buy a gallon of milk which is also 4.00 right now and subject to go up even higher, they only do to us what we allow people its time to grow some balls stay away from the pump

The Fox crew couldn't stand it that Ron Paul pulled to an early lead in the "voting" after the "debate." They kept denigrating him, and kept extending the voting until finally Romney passed for top spot. But they aren't addressing the fact that Paul is second, far ahead of Giuliani...

Of course, if this poll had been taken by some other (unnamed) network, how likely would it have been that the results would even have gotten reported as-received?
