If that's their compassion, I'd hate to see their hatred.

Jerry Falwell didn't seem to have any compassion for anyone that disagreed with him. Although the message might be distasteful to you, I find it perfectly understandable, and I too am glad that Jerry Falwell belongs to history. Anyone that makes the claim that God let American be attacked on 9/11 because of liberals, feminists, the ACLU, and homosexuals is not the kind of person I would want to be around, as he had completely ignored the message from Jesus that we are supposed to love EVERYONE... even our enemies. Jerry Falwell also once made the statement that Adolph Hitler liked the Catholics which is completely wrong - Hitler wanted to attack the Catholics at first but they had too much political power. Goodbye Jerry Falwell, and good riddance - rest in peace.

The editorials that tear the mans life apart and do so before the friends and family have dealt with their loss, are in poor-form.

You need not like who he was or what he did. But have a little thought for those who hurt.

Restraint is called for sometimes in life, have some and people will like you better.

Liberals tell every that they are compassionate with their mouths; but their actions tell you that aren't. Look at the different ways that they have treated the cancer of Mrs Edwards and the way they treated Laura Ingram and her cancer. Then look at the way the Conservatives treated them both. Liberals was wishing Mrs Edwards well but they wished Laura death. They wish all Conservatives death. Yet Conservatives only wish well for both. It happens time and time again.

Well, how do you know the poster is liberal? Your bias is showing.
Furthermore, I do not rejoice in his death but I will not mourn the death of a snake oil selling preacher. That is my right.
Remember when you point a finger, you have 4 more pointing back at yourself.

The thing you need to understand about liberals is that we don't expect you to feel the same way we do about everything. We just want you to stop telling us how to feel about things.

If this person chooses to believe that the death of the man who blamed America for the attacks of 9/11 is a good thing, then that is his right under the First Amendment of the United States of America.

Further, if he doesn't like Dick Cheney... also his right.

Stop trying to dictate people's beliefs and feelings. It's against the law.

Compassion is wasted on the likes of those people, so why should they? Yes, we shoiuld ALL strive to be against hatred. afterall, when a man uses the media to tell americans just days after 9/11 that we are responsible for it...yeah, I want someone else to stand up and speak out. and not allow history to be rewritten to make this guy look like a hero. Change your moniker if you want people to take these 'questions' seriously.

You got it. I have a co-worker that was absolutely tickled and smiling when the news broke. As you probably can guess ...he is an atheist. Their is not a single Democrat I can think of (as much as I can't tolerate their leadership) that I would be happy to see dead. Gruesome cold hearted socialists get happy at such things.

Look just to the lower right...see the thumbs down? Thanks for proving my point. I guess gruesome cold hearted socialists have feelings after all. Hurts don't it.

Good question and well asked.

Right On! I also ask our friends on the left to remember the compassion shown by MOST conservatives at the news of Mrs. Edwards' cancer.

PS--do you really charge $10 a snip?

It is in my book.

In fact the lack of corrective action on God's part is a good reason to not believe in him.

If Cheney died years ago tens of thousands of innocent people would be still living and thriving today.
