The spending in Iraq is going to hit 1/2 a trillion dollars...HALF A TRILLION! (that includes the recently asked for funds). That is insane. Plus pork barrel spending went through the roof when the Republicans took over. Add to that the expansion of government powers and the curtailing of civil liberties (never mind the 1 billion dollar bridge to nowhere). They seem to be spending us into oblivion so exactly how are Republicans fiscally conservative & for small government again???

The White House opposes any approach that would punish the Iraqi government with a loss of aid or U.S. troop withdrawals if certain goals are not met.
It seems to me, there needs to be a motivational factor for the Iraqis to become their own police and their own government.

...If you do, then call the Manchester police! They will be round there in no time at all and make that racist shop-keeper remove the offending items! But dont bother calling them if something serious occurs, like robbery or violence or burglary or ANYTHING that may require them to do what they are paid to do! If you do , you MAY see one of them in two or three days time, if they are in the area and fancy a cup of tea! By the way, the part about the Gollywogs is true, it has happened on two occations, all the rest is commonplace!

The Republicans, per usual, did not answer the question the 1st time. The liberals gave some intellectual, compassionate answers....but I'd really like for 1 Republican to answer the question...instead of junk like this....

The same reason you are not in a soup kitchen feeding the poor or over in Darfur saving those poor refugees. Try shuting up and lead by example. HAHAHAHA, what was I thinking? A foolish child of a pleb leading anything except their mouth to a soup spoon. "

Well Claudisn we do work at soup kitchens. We've run a home for the developmentally disabled since 1990. We participate in anti-war, anti-torture rallies. We try to set an example for our children.

How about you and your fellow conservatives

How about you all join up and go to Iraq.....stand up for your values and "lead by example"....How is "it's a volunteer army" an excuse........

YES "it's a volunteer army"

....so........VOLUNTEER

For instance, in France, polls during presidential runs are banned during election day and few days before. Thus Internet, SMS and many other services are offering from neighboring countries what is locally forbidden...

So, do you think that countries like France have to change their laws regarding political polls and if yes don't you think that this will turns polls into decision makers instead of indicators ?

I think it should be allowed, me personally I say Mike gravel and Ron paul should be allowed to run on one ticket. Both have revolutionary ideas and beliefs that would change the entire world as we know it. Think about it republic and democracy are synonyms! Look it up.

Why do all republicans think every American should have to same political opinion as they do? They actually belittle people who have different opinion.

Whether Democrat, Republican or Libertarian; come on admit it doesn't the symmetry, irony and poetic justice of a Hillary Presidency just have something profoundly beautiful about it? Something like "an eye for and eye...a tooth for a tooth"?

I am reading Chesty, a biography of Lewis Puller, famed USMC General of WWII and Korea. He and his men were disgusted over Harry Truman's handling of the war. They felt that the US did NOT want to win the war. (Sound familiar?)
Their resolve, their dedication, and their morale were severely damaged by Democrat's politicizing the war, could it be any different now?
Of course, the same thing happened in Vietnam. Are Democrats so callous and cold as to conduct themselves in a manner that clearly damages our military men and women? How many Soldiers and Marines have to die so Democrats can win a seat or two in Congress?

In January 2005, Value Options of Phoenix, Arizona injected me with a long-acting dose of Prolixin, the result of which landed me in the Paradise Valley Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with Neuroleptic-Maglignant Syndrome-like symptoms (including severe muscular rigidity, cold sweats, fever and extreme physical weakness). I eventually was released, but not after a horrifying experience.

I am considering bringing litigation against Value Options of Phoenix, Arizona for extreme medical malpractice. How do I do so and at a reasonable cost (I do not have a lot of money)?

Liberals support gun control taking away the 2nd amendment right and directly saving lives.

Which right would you rather lose?

Why is it that so many posters on here refuse to research what they posts as facts. Is it a fear that you will find that your truth doesn't match the fact. The sharing of iideas and nformation works so much better if the facts are on the table don't you think?
