In regards to conflict of interests and possibly un-ethical elections and procedures. I don't want to be a whistle blower but it would tear me apart if I didn't do something. Someone suggested the local D.A.'s office, I just not sure if they would do anything about it. Any advice would be apppreciated.

Are they taught to be this way? Is it nature vs. nurture? Are they just so filled with self loathing that they can't see straight?

I did not know it was fake. It was my fathers watch, he purchased a few years ago. He gave it to me to try and sell it. It looks vintage/antique. I put it on eBay, and it sold for a little over $1,000. It turns out the watch is probably fake.... the guy is threatening to sue me. He is claiming he is an attorney, he is claiming he has an appointment with the AG (attorney general) and he is saying if his lucky, he will get a Criminal Case out of this.

I googled ROLEX, and the #1, #7, #8 etc... were all REPLICA ROLEX websites. It turns out, there are a LOT of ROLEX replicas out there. I guess what makes mine different, is it looks old.

So can this guy really sue me, and get a criminal case etc.....?? PLEASE help, i'm not sure what to do.

Hitler's approval rating in 1936 was 99%, do you think he was a good leader?

Harry Truman had an approval rating of 23%, Carter had an approval rating of 28%. Do you liberals think they were bad presidents?

actually, there is NO justification for killing others,
Jesus even allowed himself to be stabbed and crucified -
What a Liberal!!!

but seems a lot of "haters" in America have a deep seated need to sit in the relative comfort of home and cheer on the sensless slaughter of 650,000 Iraqies and 3333 plus american soldiers all in the name of...
Neo Con ego
multinational corporatism
making profits on the battle field with contract mercenaries that our tax dollars pay for

(...You know who you are)
God knows that you are a part of this-
but it's ok, you can face the music in the next unavoidable world -
no one gets out of this world alive - you can't hide, or say "I don't recall doing that" you get ONE CHANCE - THIS LIFE
THAT'S IT. PERIOD. LISTEN TO YOUR RELIGION

My friend told me about her husband and she describes him as a perfect guy. Well 1. - Things are too good to be true, ususal are and 2. - I have not met a cop who does not cheat.
He tells her about all the guys at his job that cheat and who they cheat with (co-workers, criminals, prostitutes and etc) BUT he never does anything.
I think all cops cheat, are there any you know do or don't and why?

Remembering the Marine barracks in Beirut and the recent attack by 2 dump trucks on the 82nd that killed 9 US troopers, what is the plan? The Engineers can build anything given enough time and money but what do you do in one day? Concrete blocks making a serpentine and small arms do not stop trucks. Truck motors can run for a few minutes with holes in them. Trucks can still move with flat tires. Trucks loaded with HE will take out everything within 300 yards. Remember you only have 24 hrs. Stop one truck bomber and word will spread.

We could trim government spending if we cut off Israel all together. We could also gain support and win back the hearts and minds of Arab countries if we stopped monetary and military aid to one of the richest and most powerful nations in the world. Diplomacy always wins over war and tyranny. War is only a result of failure of diplomacy, unless you are an astute follower of Machiavellism.

My grandfather died and left me alot of money in a cd. Ok.. My grandmother got everything exept one CD. which was left to me, In my name and my grandfathers. She has a lawyer now trying to find a loop hole so, she can get it. I never knew I had this until today. The person told, me out of trust and didn't want to get stuff started in the family. They just thought I should know what I had and the location where the cd was ect.
Does anyone know what I should do? Are have ever heard of this before? I just don't know why I have not been notified by the bank about this matter? Are by her lawyer. The only thing I know is the bank will not give it to her since it's not in her name or unless I sign it over to her. They only thing that worrys me I guess if she forges my name... Who knows thanks everyone for the help.

I live in a block of units in Queensland. A neighbour intends to replace a mesh fence, at the back of our units, with a wooden one. Unit owners are worried that the new fence would reduce afternoon light entering the back of our units. There is concern that drying our laundry in winter would become difficult as our clothes lines are positioned against the fenceline. One owner has expressed fear that a solid fence would offer protection from discovery to people entering our property unlawfully.

As I understand the dividing fences act, the neighbour could aproach us, before building the fence, in order to share the cost of building. That would afford us opportunity to refuse the fence and the neighbour would then require a court order to proceed. The neighbour has not aproached us officialy yet and if willing to bear the full cost of the fence is then not subject to the Dividing fence Act. I might be wrong. I am happy to talk with him but would prefer to have a contingency plan first

i own a home and rented a room to a guy. I asked him to move out (giving him a full month to do so), but I fear that he will try to stay given that all we had is a verbal agreement. Is there anything I can do if he decides he doesn't want to move out?

If things are so bad in Mexico that illegal Mexican immigrants are coming to Mexico, and then protesting for reform, why don't they save the trip and the cost of moving, and just reform Mexico instead?

*Please note:I am really actually curious as to the reasoning behind this, is it because their political system is hard to reform or something completely different?
