My friend told me about her husband and she describes him as a perfect guy. Well 1. - Things are too good to be true, ususal are and 2. - I have not met a cop who does not cheat.
He tells her about all the guys at his job that cheat and who they cheat with (co-workers, criminals, prostitutes and etc) BUT he never does anything.
I think all cops cheat, are there any you know do or don't and why?

Chuck - It think is amusing that you would assume I feel guilty. I have no reason to feel guilty. The proof was when I said I met cops who cheated. I should feel guilty for cheating with them but I did not then either.
I was only gathering a point of view from others.

Robert - I understand that cops are underpaid because one guy could not afford my taste but that is another story.
Just because they are underpaid and protectors does not mean they do not have selfish needs outside the relationship. The cops I have met have their badge in their pants and power on the brain. I think most of them start off good and try to keep away from those pressures but it is way to easy to slip into that lifestyle because it is the older ones you have to watch for.

Crazy - I did leave it alone because she has to live with him not me but I was curious what cops would respond.
Chuck - I do not need to post anything for you. I am sure you can go to the dept you work at and find more cheaters than non cheaters to prove to yourself. I kind of like your argumentive nature...I am happy that you have been with your wife soooo long and you have not gotten bored. She must be a very good women to put up with you and your loser additude. Take the question as it was written and not an attack on you. Try just answering instead of getting offended. I only said all the ones I have met. The once I met, I am pretty sure you have not, so were are discussing different people. Try to be a little less guilty in defending your self. You sound guilty to me. Who are you trying to fool me or you?

some do, some do no longer. If the guy is a cheater and takes place to be a cop it is probable in basic terms a twist of fate. yet additionally, remember, that girls like law enforcement officers and each from time to time there's a temptation there. The hours they save make it easy for indiscretions. My ex boyfriend is a cop and he cheated on me.

Although I think the added stress from the day to day things poilce officer's go through contribute to there high rate of drinking, depression, divorce rate, spousel abuse, and suicide, I think they are human. It really depends on the person. They are a lot like our service man and woman that are fine when they first inlist, but then they are exposed to the raw deal and there's only so much anyone can take. Not all Police officers are crooked or bad. One has absolutly nothing to do with the other. Some people say some really stupid things.

Of course you don't want to hear the truth, but some men cheat no matter what they do for a living, police are no more or no worst
being a police officer is just a carreer the stress causes a high amount of some issues,
But with about 1/2 of all marriages failing, in the US expect for maybe preachers all carreers have alot of men who cheat

Police are first of all human beings. Some are decent and true to their mates and others are not. It is no different than people in any other line of work . If you have a really close and trusting relationship with each other you will not cheat. If you do cheat you are a low life. That applies to cops and everyone else.

No not all cops cheat it is like saying all women are prostitutes. You can never generalize a whole group based on a few people in the same profession do.

Not all police cheat. Some do. I have yet to, but then again, I'm not married.
Where I live, the statistic for a marriage if one or more of the people is in law enforcement, is under 5 years.

I think it's amusing that you dotn mentions the millions of other prefessions filled with cheaters.....Lots of men from many different jobs cheat because they are insecure about themselves enought o need someone to lust over them more they might even grow apart from their other halfs because of the kinds of things they see everyday at work that no one could think mankind is capableof...so as they become reclusive from their life mates that they turn to sluts to fill the emotional componnets they are no longer able to accept the only thign i dislike more than the cheaters are the women who kwon they're taken

A lot of police officers are aware that they wear a blue wool aphrodisiac, and there are a lot of badge bunnies out there who just want to be with (sleep with) a police officer, and they don't care if he (or she) is married or not.
There are also a lot of officers who are in stable relationships that have been married and monogamous for 20 plus years. They need that stability at home to deal with the chaos that comes with the job, so they choose to be true to their wives and husbands.

No. All cops don't cheat. Cops are hard working underpaid protectors of society who put their life on the line every day. If not for them you would be victimized constantly by those who liberals think are only poor misunderstood individuals and whose actions are not their fault.
You should be thankful for cops, not insulting them.
