Please help me understand, how do these Liberals on this forum become so filled with hate?

What I want to know, in regards to your question, is why do the leftist, you know the ones always screaming about all the rights stolen from them under the Patriot act, always seem to be the ones that want to censor free speech?

I get loads of emails to my personal account with hate filled speech because I express my love for America and my loath for the socialist movement underway by the left. I get violation notices galore when I give a fact based answer that differs from the leftist poster. Why?

There is hatred on both sides. I would be lying if I said I didn't participate in some of it myself. I think the reason it is exhibited here so often, is because people come to the conclusion that they need to be defensive. That's not as irrational as it might sound initially. People will become doormats if they always turn the other cheek in Y!A politics. I really don't hate anyone. But I feel a strong need to take a hard line in dealing with some conservatives.

Since there are liberal minded people in all political parties, just who do you have in mind as being filled with hate? Have you looked up the meaning of Liberal? Doesn't sound so bad to me. In fact, I sorta like be of a liberal mind. It helps me understand others a bit better, since I can see more than one side to most things & there are times when I find that my thinking is just a bit wrong! Imagine that!

I'm not a liberal, but even I can see their patience must be wearing thin from the constant snideness and rage-filled mudslinging some cons employ on this site. I've come to think of them as the 30%er's. They're in the minority, most of America doesn't agree with them, and yep, they're really pissed off about it. So they come on here and call everyone who doesn't agree with them liberals, and troop-hating terrorist-loving Godless morally bankrupt traitors. Not far removed from your question, which instead of being obvious, uses a certain slyness to insult your targets. Yes, you really are that obvious though, in spite of your efforts to appear civil. To be honest, I've seen this hatred start with the neocons. They are intolerant of anyone with a different opinion or lifestyle.
