No. Because U.S. citizens do not get to choose their laws and regulations 99% of the time. This is has been the case since right after the turn of the 19th century. However, I am not against our government either. Just wish we REALLY had a voice in matters.

There is no such thing as a perfect gov't. If your question applies to the American gov't ask yourself what life would be like living under a different form of gov't either toting guns, run by a life time term bobble head, or living just for what your place in society entails to name just a few. At least our gov't (US) doesn't track you down and arrest you for asking such a question. Once you've stepped outside the country, and see what other institutions have done with/to/for their people~ you may come to realize the US gov't isn't so bad. As a child I was poor and my family and I wouldn't have made it if it weren't for welfare; if it weren't for federal loans I wouldn't have gone to college, if it weren't for college I would have never gone abroad and realized the value of our gov't. Every country is corrupt in one form or another and, in fact there's an index that ranks them; however, despite the disdain the global and domestic popualtions have for our current administration we must trust there's more of a purpose than greed and deception that will propel the greater good for future generations. If and when the time comes that Americans live in fear, in destitute poverty, imprisoned by tyranny then and only then should we not trust that what they do should not be done. At that time it's not a matter of words but action.

I don't trust it. And I have a reason, and all the proof I need. Since the 1950s, the Communists have slowly been taking over the government. It wasn't paranoa, the threat of Communism was very real. One Communist would get in, he would use his position and influence to get another in, and they would do the same, so eventually, you got a whole bunch of Communists in the government. Land of the free? Used to be. Say goodbye to the good old days and welcome to the New World Order.

No. Our Founding Fathers didn't trust them(selves). They created a set of documents to protect everyone against the(ir) potential abuses.
The only problem is that the government has been chipping away at those protections for 200 years.

NO, THE GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR THE RICH.
If one if them commits an offense they get a presidential pardon , but if one of us do then we get to go the jail .
Is this right?
Is this what we call equal rigths?
