Republicans are much more diverse in their governments than Democrats. The only position Democrats allow for blacks is tax payer.
Simply look at the cabinets of the last two Presidents. Clinton had only one black and he was Secretary of Commerce, a largely meaningless cabinet office.
Bush on the other hand has had two black Secretaries of State and several hispanics including Sec. of Labor and Attorney General.
The Republicans do NOT have any former KKK members in the US Senate, while the Democrats have Sen.Byrd, former Grand Flegal or whatever he was called.
Remember Lt.Gov. Steele of MD? Black Republican and they also had a Rep. from Oklahoma who was black. Now before you start listing black Democrats, I would submit that the black Democrats all come from urban areas where a white person could never get elected.
You will soon find out how color blind Democrats are, Obama will bite the dust.

I am a republican and I don't care what race or gender a person is but I do care about their beliefs. I would definitely vote for Condoleeza Rice if she ran but you couldn't pay me to vote for Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama (I am not stupid I know they are democrats and furthermore I would like the time to mention how ashamed I am that Obama is from IL)

Playing the race card is slack thinking (for those who use it). I think republicans vote for the candidate who leans to the right or somewhere in the middle. But there are people who will vote according to race but I don't think it is the republicans !!

Any race. Black, white yellow, red, brown doesn't matter. Either gender. Male or female is fine. John Edwards I'm not so sure. ;)
