pelosi and reid are going to drop the timeline from the next bill, but you have to wonder what bit of legislation that AMericans do not want will they try to sneak through, and of course how much pork are we going to have to pay so they can get the votes needed to even get it passed.

Once again, another ridiculous question..... Bush is the one who is subverting the Constitution by vetoing the legislation. It is up to him being the commander in chief to make sure that the war (he started without any rationale or goal) is funded. He is unwilling, and will ALWAYS be unwilling to compromise with a democratic congress. Congress is finally speaking FOR the people of this country (2 out of every 3 americans) who want this war over!

With almost 70% of the US people wanting our troops out or Iraq and an end to this illegal war it seems GW is the one that needs a heavy dose of reality.

Your president George Bush subverted the Constitution beyond belief and his lousy republican congress helped him. Congress is only trying to correct the horrendous errors made by his administration. I hope they stick to their guns and subvert a lot more of the Bush dictatorship.
