I am doing a civil war project on cryptography. I want my project to be valid so I need to know what kinds of code were actually used during the war. I also wondered if their was a good site about the codes. Please help if you can, thanks.

The US government is suppose to represent and act in the best interest of our country and our citizens. Why do they constantly do things that benefit other countries and hurt our nation, our economy, our people and etc? Are we responsible to be the world's keeper at the expense of our own safety, security and financial well being? Are politicians acting illegally (outside our constitution) by looking out for the interest of other countries at the expense of our own people? What are your thoughts?

I favor a 100% estate tax. Is this considered a liberal or conservative viewpoint?

Is very confusing. I notice in your Constitution, does say well regulated militia, not average citizen, could bear arms. Was it for protection against invaders, as you had no standing army at the time? Was it to protect against intruders? Was it to rebel against your government if necessary? If so, how could you hope to defeat it now with only guns, even automatic weapons, when faced with tanks, aircraft etc.?

OK, what do you guys think about the “Sanctuary cities”? They are cities in America that are basically defying National law by refusing to co-operate with government officials (such as I.C.E. agents) in finding illegal aliens.

Now, it seems to me that this is a bad idea. It is letting illegals know that if they come to America, undercut our wages, bring disease into our country, etc., that we will welcome them with open arms.
But, let’s think about it from another perspective. Isn’t this the perfect exercise of the 10th Amendment? Isn’t this what the founding fathers had in mind? If a specific law is not directly stated in the Constitution, it is a power delegated to the states. I mean, if Houston or San Francisco don’t mind paying more for health care or law enforcement, let them pay more!

Maybe this is the start of the renewal of the 10th Amendment. Maybe we can have “Sanctuary states” for fetuses, where Abortion doctors are tried for murder. Maybe we can go back to letting states decide laws like drinking ages. Remember when Louisiana’s drinking age was 18, instead of 21? (home sweet home!). The Feds cut off funding to LA until we raised our drinking age.

I am usually known for seeing the best in every situation. So, even though our country is being inundated with illegal aliens, maybe this is the start of a new America, the one our founding fathers envisioned.

What do you say?

Company is asking me to repay the book value of the notebook or buy a new notebook at the book value. I feel its unfair as I know the notebook is insured and the company will be claiming from the insurers. The company issues notebook to employees with a notebook policy attached indicating we are liable for any losses and specifically includes losses of notebooks left in car.

The problem of car break-ins to steal notebooks left in car compartments in my country is pervalent. Somehow the thieves are able to know cars that has notebooks left inside even if they are hidden from plain sight.
