Is George working for the Tory party, or has he just got a very short memory, or maybe a selective 1, which coincidentally affects many Tory supporters.
As for the death of Thatcher, it will merely pass by un-noticed, don't waste your time with hatred, you'll all need that if the Cameron buffoon gets in. Mick

For me it will be a simple case of R.I.P. Maggie. Lots of people do not like her and blame her for all the ills in the world of which she is not responsible.
Frankly I would not be seen dead voting for her or any other Tory but she changed the face of Britain forever. Some of it for the good and a lot more of it for the worst or bad.
One massive mistake she made was stopping the supply of fixes to the 1000 or so then registered heroin addicts. These people then had to hit the streets looking for a fix elsewhere. Result, drug addiction on a massive scale and growing by the hour. It is now completely out of control, whereas before it was controlled. All an addict needed to do was register with a GP and get a daily fix. Problem solved. The drug barons simply did not exist in UK until Maggie and her party of unknowing and uncaring Tories took over.
Trick question: How long was Margaret Thatcher Prime Minister, was it 2000 years, 200 years or 20 years?
Answer = 2000 years. Well it damn well seemed like it.
I have heard rumours there's going to be a big celebration by the Left in UK when Maggie dies.

Margaret Thatcher decimated communities and wasted the north sea oil sales determining to purchase tens of millions on the dole even as she would have used that bonanza to placed something as an determination to modify or modernise those industries. yet she wasn't fascinated, she grew to change into her decrease back on 2/3 of the country and deregulated the finance market. That worked for a lengthy time period - seem at it now. Germany secure that's production market, which she would have carried out, and Germany is the in straightforward words eu united states it truly is really thriving. So - no longer such an fairly good economist then. Re the Falklands, she ignored the intel that Argentina replaced into gearing up for an invasion, which curiously their authorities did on an known foundation each and anytime issues were given warm for them at domicile, jingoism is alive and nicely everywhere, and whichever authorities replaced into in power despatched warships yet kept them below the horizon. In different words 'do not'. so as that they did not. What did she do? Withdrew the in straightforward words Royal military deliver contained in the area. no matter if she did that on objective or replaced into in basic terms incompetent i don't recognize, yet both way she has blood on her palms. i ought to agree human beings ought to do not have any proper to protest if she had a private funeral, yet on condition that her family contributors have opted for a ceremonial funeral paid for via the taxpayer it truly is a unique tale.

Cry tears of joy!!! Mass unemployment 1 million when she came to power during her reign it peeked at nearly 5 million, closed down mines, shipbuilding, textiles sold everything that wasn't bolted down. The Poll tax, cut services, the Falklands war, ruined a country that hated her guts and then wondered why we booted out every Tory MP. Some legacy she will leave behind the only positive thing i can say she did was when she fought with Europe and got a discount. The list is endless. Scotland will probably have a national day of celebration

My own is of glee and joy as I have never wished so much hatred on one person as I did and still do, this woman has ruined the heart of the great British people, the loss of jobs through the closure of the pits, steelworks, shipyards, and other industry. The privatisation of our own utilities, gas ,electric, water. The sell off of British rail, the loss of the chance for many new jobs created through apprentices in all the industries mentioned in all departments within the sections. She helped to create the poverty that we have today the problems of unemployed not wishing to work the problems with youth and the crime rate. As for the Government in power now well he should have been a Tory as his wife is. We have tried them both on many occasions neither of them keep their promise so boot them out and give someone Else a chance.

I think I will have very little reaction. Millions of people die everyday you cannot mourn then all. I will say that when she was finally evicted from number 10 I rejoiced. I think that her government was extremely flawed and caused irreparable damaged to our country - but then she was voted in by the people - she is not to blame for the endemic materialism of the human race but she will always be a symbol of it.

Your question has obviously touched some very sad and pathetic people on this site.
Blaming Mrs thatcher for the closure of mines and industry is a convenient trick. Does nobody remember the part the unions played with their endless strikes? Does nobody understand that these greedy people priced themselves out of the market?
Does nobody remember the mass unemployment that labour brought upon us? The disastrous policies of the communist Harold Wilson and the inept and incompetent Jim Callaghan?
Mrs Thatcher might have made mistakes but she picked up this sorry country and made it work again. From being known as the sick man of Europe we became the 3rd largest economy in the world - now beaten in to 4th place by China.

I will be very upset, as I regard her as the best Prime Minister this country has had for over half a century. If you remember before her labour were calling us a 3rd World Country, un elected Union Leaders were in and out of No.10 dictating policies, whilst being unanswerable. Even Blair hasn't changed any of her legislation!
She tamed the Unions that were ruining our country, she put personal responsibility back on the individual.
Europe didn't get away with any of the garbage they now throw at us or rather Blair delivers for them.
