Conservatives want to annihilate those that wish America harm, which is understandable.

Liberals want to get along with them and maybe see why they hate us so much. Honestly, that idea isn't all that terrible.

But which can be more realistically done?

A man cut me off this morning on my way to work. I had to swerve into the next lane to stop from rear ending him. I floored it, passed him and kept on my way. He get's so close to my bumper, that if I had stopped, he would've parked in my trunk. When I stopped at a stop sign, he gets out of his truck. Stupid me rolls the window down. He puts a gun to my head, pulls the trigger and "click" . I thought I was dead. The next thing I know, my mouth is bleeding. He has punched me in the mouth with the other hand. No license plate on the truck, so nothing really for the cops to go off of except for a description of him and the vehicle.

What do you think should be done to this person if he is caught? The officer said I did nothing wrong. I don't even know how I feel. Needless to say, I took the day off.

Give me your opinions please.

I'm writing on behalf of my brother-in-law, a hotel manager. He has had a pair of guests (both male) who tryst at his hotel and leave the room in very bad condition. They leave the room smeared with feces and blood among other things. When there is blood involved, the hotel has to pay to bring in a professional cleaning service, but when there is no blood, his housekeepers have to clean the room. Linens have to be thrown away, as well as mattresses and other higher-priced items.

Apparently, this pair are each married to a woman and have a pattern of cycling through the hotels in town and leaving the rooms in a similar state. It is assumed that their wives are not aware of this relationship. It seems that when the hotels try to ban them from staying there again, the two men claim that this would be a human rights violation because they are gay.

Let me start by saying that I know there are those that have been screwed by the system, and I also know that there are those that made a mistake and CAN be rehabilitated. What about the hardened criminals, child abusers, murderers, rapist, those that are repeat offenders, etc. Does anyone believe in the "EYE FOR AN EYE & TOOTH FOR A TOOTH" punishment? Any Idea how much EACH convict on death row cost us in taxes per year. This should be interesting and I look forward to your answers. Great day all.

If you are also someone who believes social programs cause people to become dependent on the system and don't give them any reason to promote their own well being.. then why can't that same logic be applied to Iraq? I personally do support social programs.. but I admit that they DO need more accountability.. and the same SHOULD apply to Iraq.. wouldn't you agree?

Hello,

This is probably a very vague question, however I'm wondering what impact does the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2005 have on people? (not those who lend money/credit).

How has the bankruptcy law changed since then?

I ask because I took a course in bankruptcy law in 2004 and literally two weeks after graduation the above mentioned law passed.

Thanks for your time.

I am a Pennsylvania Republican but I voted for John Casey(Democrat) because Rick Santorum was going too far to the right for me. When they won the two houses, I remember all the celebrations they had all over the country that huge changes were coming. I remember watching the night they got sworn in and watching Nancy Pelosi promise to "work with" the president. I have been watching the news everyday since then and all it seems like they have accomplished is raising the minimum wage. It seems like the last 3.5 months, all they have been busy doing is writing a bill that they knew the president would veto just to "prove a point" But "proving a point" doesn't change anything. And how is writing a bill that they knew the president would veto "working with?" I wanted to improve the situation in Iraq and I though that voting differently would maybe change things but now it just seems like everyone is acting like little kids dragging their feet to prevent anything from getting done.

Insanity Personified : Nancy Pelosi

When questioned about recent stock market highs she responded "Only the rich benefit from these record highs. Working Americans, welfare recipients, the unemployed and minorities are not sharing in these obscene record highs".

"There is no question these windfall profits and income created by the Bush administration need to be taxed at 100% rate and those dollars redistributed to the poor and working class".

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied "We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as "Americans"."

Is she for real?
