When questioned about recent stock market highs she responded "Only the rich benefit from these record highs. Working Americans, welfare recipients, the unemployed and minorities are not sharing in these obscene record highs".
"There is no question these windfall profits and income created by the Bush administration need to be taxed at 100% rate and those dollars redistributed to the poor and working class".
When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied "We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as "Americans"."

we can't give money away to help others.
for citizenship, you have to pay taxes to help the economy flourish in order to benefit from usa.
higher stock returns means more people working without losing jobs.
the only reason dems like higher taxes is to raise their govt salaries and not to help the poor like they claim.

Liberalism is a mental disorder! lets give up our retirement funds so that our poor illegal aliens can have a nice home, a warm meal, hospital care and daycare for their 12 children. oh, and lets not forget the lazy and the entitlement groups. Seems it pays to break laws and be generally irresponsible.

That is called COMMUNISM and explains why the liberals always raise taxes and also start useless social programs.
Also it's great it should undermine her entire party like that trip to the middle east where she lied to the Israels and the Syrians.

I am a conservative and Nancy Pelosi says plenty of dopey things, however, what you have seen was a parody taken out of context. Please see the link below.
If any liberals actually believe these things anyway, they will have to answer themselves.

While she may believe that, as she is a good socialist, I doubt any politician is actually stupid enough to say it.
