The real question is why do we vote republican or democrat? We have been stuck in the two party system too long, if a majority of the people would vote independant than maybe we could get a better quality of lawmakers, if that is possable.

For those of you who think the economy was better under Clinton please go to Bureau of Labor Statistics @ the Dept. of labor. Unemployment on average during this administration has been lower . And to TD their our more Minority's in this administration that in any other that are in Leadership roles. Also more minority Home owners ever before, and more home owner period!! Productivity is at an all time high. Even with unfair labor agreements with the unions all across America. Check the United States Economy at a Glance @ http://stats.bls.gov/eag/eag.us.htm
All of this after 9/11. SO PLEASE GET INFORMED

Let's see.........Why would I vote Democrap?
Easy!!!!!! Because Republicans are not for "the People"!
They are for giving the Wealthy tax cuts.....not the little people!
The Republicans tell everyone that they are for SMALLER Government, Yet when the GOV. is in control by the REP. government keeps getting BIGGER!
The Republicans say they are for peace and against abortions, yet they love to kill other countries Innocent!
They say they want Bilateral committees to discuss and fix our problems....But all they can do is talk about how Bad Liberals are....

So do you know of anyone who is perfect enough, smart enough and wise enough to lead a country like the US? No such person exists.
Apparently we have being misled for hundreds of years, look at the mess we're in right now.
At least the dems care about others and not just for themselves.
You speak as if you were a perfect person in need of nothing.
BTW, you have the democratic party confused with liberals. Two different things here.
Over 90% of college professers are dems......wonder why...because they see things clearly, not through rose colored glasses as the repubs do.

Education for all. The American Dream for all!
Health care for the less than priveledged.
The Govt staying out of our bodies.
Freedom of religion!
Equality of marriage. No more cheap gaybashing for CONservatives to hide something.
A real esatate market where the average worker can buy therir own home.
Less forclosures than we have now.
Justice in our courts.
In short, an American that belongs to Americans, not corporations.
How the hell can you get more American than THAT?

Ah, the rants of a crazy conservative. You would vote democrat because you support a withdrawl from a never ending war in which the AMERICAN PEOPLE (you know, the people who vote for the elected officials) and the IRAQIS (you know, the people we are forcing our beliefs on) want to get out of. You would vote democrat because you support a WOMANS RIGHT TO CHOOSE, since it is her body. You would vote democrat because you believe in EQUALITY, that Church and State should be seperated, in which case passing laws against gay rights based on what the BIBLE says would technically be infringing on that. So pretty much you would vote democrat if you were in your right mind. :-) Unless of course you are more worried about control, telling everyone what they should believe as opposed to allowing them to decide for themselves...in which case you would vote republican.
