I like to learn as much as possible . Even if it doesn't support my current point of view . That is the definition of learning anyway .

If you are really here to learn something new. . . . . I suggest going to my profile and answering the question titled " Do Americans under 40 know about this " ? It requires that you click a couple of times and look at my question profile(it's about the 8th or 9th question down from the top) . Funny thing is. . . . it never posted !! Yet it got 9 stars !! So much for Yahoo knowing what to post and what not to post !!!!!!!!!!!!

I could really insult every other country out there, but because I am not a rude, obnoxious person, I don't. It seems that American people are so good to the poor countries, the countries that have natural disasters, are being taken over by other countries, have evil dictators, etc. Yet it seems that no one appreciates the money, time , effort and care that we give them. They treat us poorly and It makes me wish that we would stop doing anything for any other country.

I just wanted to know...I saw that was the worst war for deaths overall, of any war. Why did it start? There was so much support for our soldiers, too.

im studying to be a lawyer...so i know that murder is a crime of much higher degree...but when you look at it from the victim's point of view....is rape more traumatic or is it muder..?

i go for rape...cause the victim has to continue suffering the sh!t that happened to her even after its over...

why does something like rape take place even though there are so many people to stand up and say they are against it??

What really does McCain know about real batllefield fighting? During a practice training in Corpus Christi, his aircraft crashed into Corpus Christi Bay! His plane was shot down on Oct. 26, 1967 while on a bombing run over Hanoi. He parachuted into a lake, breaking both arms and a leg. And was captured by the Vietcons and thrown into 'Hanoi Hilton' where he stayed till 1973 while all his peers, like John Kerry, were doing the real fighting in the real battlefields!

His Vietnam records show him as bringing bad luck than good:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain
McCain escaped death again on July 29, 1967. While Forrestal steamed off the coast of Vietnam preparing to launch attacks, a Zuni rocket from an F-4 Phantom was accidentally fired across the carrier's deck....The ensuing fire killed 132 sailors, injured 62 others, destroyed at least 20 aircraft, and threatened to sink the ship... After the Forrestal incident, McCain joined the VA-163 Saints on board the short-staffed Oriskany. Before McCain's arrival, on October 26, 1966, a mishandled flare caused a deck fire, resulting in the death of 44 men, including 24 pilots

Ideas without action are worthless. Hi, for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brittney Durant. When I first came to this school as a freshman, I thought that this school was filled with so much school spirit. From girls with matching T-shirts and ribbons, to some seniors dying their hair blue, just for that day. It was to the point where if you didn’t dress up, or didn’t wear you class colors you didn’t really fit in. In my past three years at West High, I feel that students at our school have less and less school spirit and just get plain tired and bored at rallies. Instead of getting up and yelling out our classes, we would much rather stay seated, sit back and watch. I personally believe it is due to the fact that our rallies are the same every year. Alhough the freshmen may be excited about our rallies, I’m sure that most of you agree with me that our class competitions are just like they were last year and the year before. I think that students would be more into our rallies and filled with more school spirit if we had something new to look forward to every rally. As your next secretary of Activities, I am willing to work with the Secretary of Spirit to provide our school with better rallies, dances, and activities. I, personally, think that it is time for a change at West High. Rallies at our school have been said to be “all right”, “boring”, or the same “every year”. As your new secretary of Activities, I’ll do my best to make sure that you, the students of West High, have an unforgettable year next year with more exciting rallies and newer and better songs at our school dances. With the new secretary of spirit I will combine creativity with discipline to provide West High with more organized rallies next year. I’ll try my best to have newer class competitions, such as dance offs, and perhaps teacher versus students relays. I, Brittney Durant, promise to listen to each student's concerns and ideas for future activities and I think that it would be a great idea to get the students’ opinions about what our future activities should be.

To our American cousins. I understand you are concerned about your freedom, your rights.
But don´t you think stricter gun control laws might be the way to go.
For example, this weeks Economist suggested :
"child-proof locks",
"system of registration for guns and gun-owners"
"wider blacklist of those ineligible to buy them"
And hey, enough with the cheap jokes about our terrible teeth!

I was in the military for six years and after we lost Vietnam on 30th April 1975 I got out of the military and went on with my life. So we lost. No big deal. The USA is still here and I'm doing fine. When we lose Iraq ( And we Will ) the Vets will also go on with their lives. Really....No big deal.
