I am reading "The Warrior Elite", which goes in depth into the BUD/S training for Class 228, and it mentions that the instructors (these particular ones enlisted) have college degrees. I found it strange.

Just curious.

This is quite frankly one of these things that are the reason people think the left is looney. It's okay to rip an unborn child from the womb in little pieces,or suck out it's brain and then pull it out intact,but it's not okay to codemn a brutal murderer to die? Sorry just don't get that one.

what do the mean by formal dress.(deatils) do i have wear heels, do my hair, and wear make up. the i liked asked me, and he seemed very casual about it . i'm really nervous, i would like to go but i'm nervous b/c i never been to a "ball". please help. i have curly hair up my elbows, what should do for this occassion. up , down, striaght, curly. i wouldnt be so nervous if it wasnt the guy i like. now i have to worry about being all formal and impresing the guy i like.

It cannot be documented by anyone that the Dept of Homeland Security has saved any lives. Even one.
And it just might be that FEMA, part of the Dept let a lot of people die. Has it really made America more secure? Probably in some small measure by diminishing Constitutional rights, like the 1st and 5th Amendments..

Seems to me that FOR THE SAME MONEY/COST a Dept of Healthcare would have saved thousands of lives and improved the lives and security of millions of Americans in the last 5 years.

What do you think and why?

We know the American left is in some kind of awe of the Canadian system and wants a totally government controlled socialized medicine? What is the strength in that?

The American right is merely on defense on health care, which I don't understand, why they don't promote a capitalist answer? Capitalism has solved many problems - why not health care?

During his second tour of duty, my cousin who is a marine, was so excited to go back into "action" and make more money. That changed as soon as he got back and now he discusses how pathetic our presence in Iraq has become. All this and now we are buildings walls, mocking the very stability we claimed to bring to Iraq? When will the Bush administration learn (I ask that retorihcally) that our Second Vietnam was lost the day it began. Now we are going to mimic the intial instigating measure that devide Germany for so long? Why does this administration repeatidly ignore history as well as common sense? This is the begining of the end of Iraq. This administrations policies are no longer humours however they are most definetly still a joke. Why the HELL are we repeating history over and over and over agian? The worst has yet to come... I pray for the soldiers in Iraq, who should have never of been sent there in the first place. History is going to NAIL Bush for everything the press has not.

Ok, heres the situation...My grandfather had a will with his wife and then he passed away. This was last year. Then just recently his wife passed away. I know that no money was to be released or property they have until my grandfather's wife passed. She just passed away on monday and i know i was in the will. except that they never got the chance to tell me who the lawyer was. I live in az and they lived in pasadena FL. So what do i do now? These so called family members came around right before she passed. Everyone now thinks she changed the will before she died?is that possible? How do i find out about my grandfathers house and will? I need help asap. thankyou

I think we should record and then televise every execution in America. We can have a snazy commentator, like on Cops, explain the crime they were convicted. Then we can do a pre-execution interview with the condemned. Then we'll do a closeup of the entire process by which the condemned is made to pay for their crime.

Then we'll find out if Americans are really so enamoured of capital punishment or not. Heck...the show would be cheap and it might really rock in the ratings. Or we'll be sickened by the whole process and end this barbaric practice.

I leave for basic in august and im only 17. I signed for 6 years and im thinking about backing out before its too late. The main thing im worried about is Basic Training.
