First get your facts straight, America hasn't killed millions, nor have we lost millions, people that is. We have not destroyed any cultures, if anything we have freed cultures to live as they see fit. We consider terrorist and they're leaders a threat to not only the people of the United States but also to all countries that they have targeted. Remember England's train???? America doesn't sneak up to a building full of Innocent, non military personal, and hit it with a plane full of innocent , non military personal. Granted, civilian deaths are a part of any conflict, but the U.S. doesn't aim for 'em.

Um. Yeah. DONT SPEAK FOR US ALL BUB. I'm an American (and proud of it even if a bozo is "representing" us) and I certainly do NOT think all Muslims are terriorists.
I'm not saying the war America is fighting is juste, because I don't think it is, as many fellow Americans don't...but don't think you've got all American minds thought out because of one course of action. Name your country and I can name a time in history where your country has also killed millions I guarentee it. If you ARE an American--DUDE WE HAVE ENOUGH PPL HATING US.
And I've got news for you, "Ben Ladin" didn't just "commit crimes against America"...he killed thousands in HIS OWN COUNTRY gawd KNOW about this stuff before you question it.

I agree that no other Super Power exists to claim moral superiority over the U.S. at present. And with the American culture casting a great influence over the new generation worldwide thru technological medias like Television and Film, they reach a larger audience of sympathizers than those they are currently at odds with. People tend to discriminate against cultures they are not familiar with, and until they get to know more about those cultures, they will tend to sympathize with the more familiar culture. As for those branded as terrorists, i think you need to make a distinction against groups of people branded as terrorists from people who live in the country where these groups come from. I don't think America considers all muslims as terrorists, just some people who committed terrorists acts and who just happened to be muslims. One of the problems with all the media coverage is that lines are blurred between law abiding muslims and terrorists when the violent images seen on TV and repeated association of the word islamic and muslim with the word terrorists keeps being fed in large doses to the viewing public. When countries like the U.S. engage in police action like in Iraq, they are not branded as terrorists because their acts are governed by civilized rules of engagement and can be held accountable for any atrocity commited during their operations. They generally go after identified targets who were proven to be a danger to society and they are open to diplomacy anytime the other side wants to put a stop to the hostilities. The terrorist on the other hand do not discriminate against civilians and combatants and generally commit mass murders to elicit fear among civilians in pursuit of their goals. But it's true that the line between Police action and outright invasion or even terrorism is pretty thin especially in the eyes of the people caught in the middle. But starting a flaming war over the forums by labelling tit for tat isn't gonna help whatsoever. Although I would concur that America as a Nation isn't without any blemish either, their country was practically won from Native American Indians thru invasion and force of arms. And as for the statement that America never killed millions, well that's not exactly true, most of you were probably too young to remember or weren't born yet when it happened, but in answer to that, I have 2 names for you: Hiroshima and Nagasaki, look it up.

What a load of crap, Tariq...
We haven't killed millions and we don't destroy whole cultures. We have bent over backwards, to the point of endangering our soldiers, NOT to destroy the culture. I can't even follow terrorists going into mosques where they are hiding! When a mosque becomes a hide out for terrorists, you tell me who the real terrorists are.

We don't perform sneak attacks against anyone prior to a declaration of war.
I don't think we should have invaded Iraq, but we didn't destroy that country or its culture. Saddam Hussein did that years ago.
Before any Muslims criticize us, they should take a good look at their own history of unnecessary violence.

America is a nation that practices what is known as state sponsered terror. They try to get what they want, e.i oil from Iraq, by not following the guidelines of war. For example, take what happened at Abu Ghraib; didn't the US terrorize the Iraqi prisoners. One has to ask what was the purpose of such an action and my response is that it was done to instill fear into the ressistance fighters. Moreover, I believe that both sides have terrorists that use war for their own benefits. However, the difference is that one has more power in the international field of politics than the other. Thus, this type of terror is very difficult to prove other than if that country claims it has done such actions.

Tariq - your Arabic name reveals your anti-American intentions in this question as well as your other ones.
YOU Tariq are the enemy...YOU are the terrorist!
Why don't you just go and join your other fanatical Muslim friends and conspirators at your local Mosque where we know you are planning more harm and destruction on innocent Westerners while you chant "Allahu Akbar!" to your false god and while your twisted, sick brains believe you are "blessed" by your demented actions.
You and all the other religious Muslim extremists and fanatical crazies are simply pawns of the Devil himself...demons, and your only reward will be to join him in everlasting Hell when your time here on Earth is finally up.
Do us all a favor...why don't you go and grab one of those belts of explosives, go for a walk in a field and then blow yourself up...that would be the best possible thing that could happen...
you and all your other towel-headed, personal hygiene challenged accomplices just make me want to puke.

you got it all wrong!
if we really had wanted to destroy Iraq it would have been easy, just unleashing one of these monsters:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_class_submarine
just 2 missiles (with all its warheads) would have wiped out Iraq completely!!!
but we did NOT want to destroy Iraq, on the contrary, we are there to try to for the first time build a decent country for those folks who have NEVER had a decent country with some kind of democracy!!
and we do not target defenseless civilians on purpose, but there is a things a collateral damage in war(inevitable), where the terrorist DO target civilians since they know they can NOT win a straight fight with us so they try to undermine our eff forts in Iraq by destabilizing it from the inside by creating terror and confusion with their attacks and killings of innocent civilians.....!
I do not know who gave you that anti american propaganda but you need to wake up kid!!!
