my rent check was returned from my new landlord becoz both me and my brother 's name is printed on the checks. he insisted I write him a new check with out my brother's name printed on it. My brother doesnt live in the apartment. My previous property managment accepted the checks for years. I live in california. Are there any law states that I can not pay my rent with both my and my borther's name on my check. anyone or lawyer out there? He is making an issue when there is none, I dont feel like getting new checks becoz he say so.

First off, I don't condone the kiling of any President! I just don't understand why a good President like kennedy was shot and George Bush has not been beacuse he is even more unpopular and harmful to our country. Does anyone understand what I mean??

how can i prove my husband only married me for a green card. he only got it 1 year ago and never worked i worked all the time and he was a student applying to the hospitals and i got his credit started for him and now 2 weeks ago he got accepted at a hospital and he has left me and wants a divorce. what can i do about this?

I got a moving violation from a state trooper. The only thing you can read is the fine amount which, the trooper wrote very clearly. All other information is barely readable. Might this be a technicality to get the ticket nolled?

I mean if the libs wrote all those rules for US troops that are keeping them from winning the war in Iraq why aren't they plastered up all over the Internet & Wall St. Journal & why isn't Fox News, Ann Coulter, Rush, screaming out about them at the top of their lungs?

Or might it be because Bush & the Pentagon wrote a lot of those rules (on behalf of their Sunni Arab allies) & if that got out to the American people Bush would not only be hated by 70% of the country the other 30% would hate him as well & he'd be finished as President?

Would conservatives even support Bush if they knew that he was mostly responsible for the US rules of engagement that are getting US troops killed & tying one arm behind their backs when they fight?

tell me. i have posted this prior but i want to be sure. is is at all possible or wise to beat this in court. i dont want to pay for a ticket if there is a slight chance that i can get away. the ticket was only for speeding and it was written as approx. 96 so im guessing he did not use a radar gun. i have 60 days for my trial and im trying to get as much info as possible. i cant afford to pay for this ticket right now and i want to beat it if i can. i hate the government and i want to get back at them. tell me how to beat this and i will appreciate it greatly.

I got a DUI :( but my plates are still good until they expire at the end of the year. Now, can someone else drive my car and not get pulled over if the police run the plates? And, when the police run the plates, what shows up in their screen? Will that make them pull over the vehicle even if they are driving perfectly just to check the validity of the license of the driver of the vehicle?
Also, will the DMV keep sending me renewals for the vehicle plates even though my driver's license is revoked? The state is Wisconsin. My gf has been driving me around.
Please don't lecture, I'm just looking for good solid info.
