There's always some nut case out there--but I see two reasons (other than justluck--many presidents never have attempts on their life).

One is that GWB isn't very accessible physically; he does appear in public, but usually the audience is creened (to prevent critical demonstrations, not for security).

The second is that even a psychopath can figure out that having Cheney as president would be even worse than having Bush.

Because Bush is a greater President than Kennedy ever was, despite JFK's glofification in the history books.

A lame-*** question, given that Bush shall be lionized beyond Kennedy after he is done. Kennedy's star status is only BECAUSE he was assassinated. I give JFK props for the Cuban Missile Crisis, but Bush has had/is having to deal with and withstand much more responsibility and incredibly tough decisions/situations.

If our next President succeeds in completing the near-impossible work that Bush courageously began in the Middle East, Bush will be heralded as the man who saved Western Civilization from dhimmitude.

First I have something to declare. I am drunk, and bored.

Now that that is out of the way let's think about this. (sipping wine) Basically it goes like this. Kennedy was a threat to the powers that control the government. Kennedy was a righteous man who intended to fight corruption because of how he was raised.

Let's contrast that to Mr. Bush who is a 'fortunate son' (no I am not a baby boomer) of another former president. The Bushes have the family oil fields in Iraq which makes them an ally to the true powers in this country (read oil corporations).

Who has anything against President Bush besides the people? By the way the people (including me) are too chicken crap to do anything about it. According to Jefferson we are supposed to overthrow the government every 25 years, so we are about 206 years overdue, so forget about it.

If you don't get anything else from this remember one thing. Elvis Costello has had his day. It's over Elvis.

Any questions?

Bush had lots greater efficient protection, it rather is for valuable. Being a 'good' president is a biased or at lest a private opinion. suitable now, Lincoln is considered as between the greater efficient presidents. yet whilst he replaced into murdered, numerous individuals chanced on him a poor president. Kennedy replaced into, in a manner, fortunate. He replaced into murdered earlier the honeymoon replaced into over. He merely hadn't had the possibility to instruct if he replaced into as good as we now think of he would desire to have been. i'm uncertain if he could be considered as a good president at present, had he no longer been murdered. The Vietnam conflict improve fairly have been given began under his administration. He replaced right into a infamous womanizer, making invoice Clinton appear like a choirboy. Even worse, the girls he frequented would have been offered by potential of or working for the Mafia. He used very heavy drugs that would effect one's judgements. Now, don't get me incorrect: i do no longer say he replaced right into a foul president. He wasn't. From what I even have considered, he probable could have been a good president. however the signs and warning signs have been actual there. we are able to in basic terms choose a president long after he has left workplace. Ronald Reagan replaced into considered each bit as undesirable as Bush. yet we've a very diverse opinion approximately him. it fairly is accessible (yet particularly no longer likely) historical past will see Bush diverse.

Many suspect Kennedy was killed for turning his back on the Mob. They secured his election and then he turned Bobby loose on them. Although there are many that thought Kennedy was a great president He had many flaws and like Clinton, Kennedy lacked morals. Kennedy insulted the big party leadership and I believe a deal was struck between both party leaderships, the Mob and even Johnson. Johnson wanted to be president more than life and It is possible that helped things along.

Bush specializes in insulting liberals and everyone knows they are non violent so He does not have to worry about assassination.

Because the police protecting the President have learned much about protecting the President. You have not and I'm sure you never will see the President in an open car in a crowded city with tall buildings in a parade situation.

The Kennedy boys suffered for the sins of the father who was a bootlegger. The first died in the war, the next two were assassinated, the last one is retarded. Its a shame.

JUst because someone was assinated does not make them a saint (Kennedy) Why is it that the ones who love Kennedy always forget to mention that John and Bobby considered Martin Luther King public enemy number one.
