No, he would have found a hot daughter of Saddams and made out with her. This would have infuriated Quday and Usay, thus prompting Kirk to send Sulu, Spock and ensign number one to vaporize them. Of course, in the process, ensign number one would have been killed but so would Saddams two sons. Upon realizing his sons were gone and his daughter had betrayed him, Saddam would have surrendered to Kirk and accepted banishment to another planet. Kirk would have introduced his daughter as the new ruler of the people of Iraq and then he would break her heart by flying off into the sunset on the USS Enterprise.
This too, would have probably resulted in civil unrest but our only loss would have been ensign number 1. End Captains log: Star Date - four:seven:twenty-o-seven Kirk Out!

He and his team would have beamed down saw what was going on and returned to the USS Enterprise. From there they would have bombarded the entire country with photon torpedo's.......
But invade....no. Not with a crew of only 400!

Only if they had lots of girls with 2 belly buttons, or if they were already having a civil war that was causing problems for the crew of Enterprise.

Hell no. Instead he would have "hooked up" with some exotic chick while similtaneously managing to lose his shirt. "Its my ship, my ship" Somehow the crew would have avoided invading Iraq by "playing dead".
