What are some mistakes Treasurers make?

I need to know some mistakes treasurers could make. or have made in the past. it can be pretty simple, such as a high school student council mistake.

Misspending money. Not keeping proper records. Stealing.

Most of that deals with the financial boards for distributing funding to recognized student clubs. Mistakes would probably deal with bookkeeping or misappropriating funding. Maybe making some "sweetheart" deals in exchange for favors.
