heres the real story
Bush administration knocks down the twin towers
Bush justifies the invasion of afghanistan and blames al-quadea
Bush claims iraq had WMDs, LIE!!!!
Bush invades anyways, then changes his plan to establishing a democracy, but his real intentions are oil. HE IS A LIAR!!!

IT IS BOGUS. The war is for a good cause, however terrorism is an idea. It can't be destroyed. It's going to be around for the rest of mankind, so why are we spending billions on this war? It will never end. Terrorism, again is an idea. Take love for instance; we can't destroy that idea because it's human nature. The same applys to terrorism; it cannot be destroyed. No matter how many terrorists you kill, there will be terrorism in this world.

Absolutely.
When the Cold War came to an end the military contractors were desperate for another long term enemy to keep the juicy contracts coming in.
The War on Terror is a useful term to cover anything they wish to do, whether it's invading other countries or devising systems to spy on their own citizens.
The Americans supported the IRA terrorists in Britain and Ireland for many years until 9/11 when they got a taste of their own medicine but they have never had the decency to apologize.

After over 25 years of perpetrating terror, acts of war and murder toward Americans all over the globe, any effective policy to eliminate these dirt bags cannot possible be bogus.
Long over due, perhaps, but definitely not bogus.

If you mean the term global war on terror that remains to be seen. Im interested to see an itemized list of everything that will go into the global war on terror just to see who had the cheaper bid the republican congress or the democratic congress.

i think terrorism is not as bad as the government wants to believe, if it was there would have already been another at tact on the U.S I work at a air port and it is still just as easy today to get a weapon on bord a plane then it was before 9-11. We have government people that come and test out the security all the time, there has been 1 FBI agent that was able to get a loaded gun on Bord.

Yes. Of course it is. Does anyone in the US seriously worry about terrorism here? It's about the least likely way to die anyone can imagine.

Not bogus but a misnomer. It's a war against Islamofascism.
